Are the following aloud in GOTM/COTM?

CivAssist by ainwood
CRpSuite by Dianthus

Yes they both are allowed :)
And they both are a big help in the game - GOTM35 I used civassist and it was probably the first game that I had no rioting ( apart from resisters causing it)

Thanks Ainwood :goodjob:

I just loaded both. I think this may be the edge I need to boost my score.

The biggest problem I have is patience (or the lack of). I get so caught up in the game with unfolding events that I'm too quick to hit the 'end turn' button.
These 2 utilities have helped me but I could still do with a big dose of patience to boost my score (that and a brain transplant, hehe)

the only problem I have with CRPMapstat is that it doesn't update the autosave each turn in PTW so I have to manually load it. It works fine in Conquests, so I don't know what the problem is.

Does it work for you?

Yes - you can use them. We both went to a bit of effort to make the 'spoiler safe'. :)

Edit:

Full list of allowed programs is here (http://gotm.civfanatics.net/gen/rules2.shtml)
For TradeAssist read CivAssist, for CrpMapStat read CRPSuite - don't miss-out on Dianthus' CRPRings program for getting RCP distances - can't live without that little program! ;)

Can't say, although it might be that you have it set to monitor the conquests autosave directory rather than the PTW one. Under the file menu, choose 'preferences', and make sure the option to monitor the PTW autosave directory is checked. :)

I have checked that and its on. Have also checked the file paths and they are all correct! Can't figure it out.

In Crpmapstat you need to select whether you play C3C, PtW or Vanilla in the preferences tab, it then knows which 'auto' map to use.

edit: I just checked and it isn't even either/or, you can select more than one version.

Yup, I have all 3 selected!

Hmm, strange... it works like a charm for me. Have you considered PM-ing Dianthus about it?

The list is now updated with these changes.

Just done so, thanks.

He did :). What's happening is that automatic autosave monitoring is trying to be clever (ha!) and only monitor the autosave directory for the version of Civ that is currently running. Unfortunately Lord British is using Civ Gold, which has a different window name from [civ3]/[ptw]/[c3c], so I didn't detect it. That's fixed for the next release, which will be out real soon now (with some other interesting features ;))
