At last Babylon has caved into our superior military might and is now willing to negotiate peace.

We can get:
Option X
Peace Treaty
26 g
5 gpt
World Map
Territory Map
Or Option Y
Peace Treaty
26g
World Map
Territory Map
12 gpt
The Republic
BUT give Feudalism

Give war a chance! - Continue our looting, pillaging, and total annihilation of the Babylonians

Peace at a later time with better loot - Sign a peace treaty but later with different (and hopefully) better terms

Abstain - ;)

Declaring a peace with Babylon would free up our resources to fight Rome and accelerate Roman downfall.

Nah! I say we get Monotheism out of them after we kick some butt.

Good poll options, by the way. You could have explained them a little better though. ;)

Thanks, I thought they were pretty self explanatory though..

Well, yeah, they're not bad, but you didn't mention the 3rd or 4th Options in your narrative. You just posted about the peace-making options and concluded the post with a statement about making peace. That could be seen as leaning towards a bias poll (not that you did). When you discuss the options in the narrative, try to include ALL options in your narrative. ;)

Noted and changed.

Given that that was the objective in declaring this war in the first place, I see no reason to continue fighting the Babylonians. Option X it is.

I would really like to get a Babylonian city. But I also see (too) many Bab units in our land and no army of us capable of inflicting some serious damage on the Babs.
So I opt for peace with them.
Never give up a monopoly tech this easily; especially when we can trade for their monopoly tech later on (Monotheism).

Of all the bad options (not your fault Blackheart) option X is the only one that comes close to be barely acceptable.

Option X! For the elimination of Rome... and the tarnishing of the Babylonians into a Rogue State!

im strung between option x or wait and get some better loot,
why did we enter this war just to get out of it a few turns later?

We didn't start the war with Babylon, and we're not ending the war with Rome.

Romans got Babs into the War about 10 Turns ago...

Having Babs sign peace now = Diplomatic Death Sentence for Hammer.
AND Actual Death Sentence for Ceaser. :D

Agreed. Babylon will have it's time. But now is the hour of Rome's destruction. Let nothing else interfere.
