My understanding is that the law requires an official appointment of deputy when the deputy is not selected as the result of an election. I humbly suggest that you make an official post on this matter.

I am not trying to stir anything up and fully support your selection. It may be that with all the recent divisiveness we've seen, that someone will wish to challenge your selection, but I feel it would be better to get this out of the way up front.

I have no problem with anyone challenging my appointment - that's the way things work after all! I will do what I can to support CT as President, but that doesn't mean that I'll always agree with her - just look at some of the chatlogs from my term as president! If I think she's wrong I will say so.

Speaking of appointments, Ashburnham has requested that he be appointed Deputy Minister of Culture. I endorse his request and ask that you would do so.

I am myself also new to these surroundings; perhaps a field trip with the three of us can gain us al valuable feedback on policy and intelligence on the citizens feelings, as well as an overwhelmingly view on Zarnia's beautiful landscapes and richess. I asked before, but did not get a reply. During his term, President DaveShack continued the tradition from late DG3 and all of DG4 of linking to saves and chat logs from the the Turn Chat index thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=94619). This thread is an excellent resource for all citizens to quickly and easily access the the past of our country to aid in planning for the future.

Will you continue his lead, and update the thread for all of Term 2, and continue to do so for Term 3?

It's not just about getting instructions posted. It's also about giving citizens enough time to see the posted instructions and bring any irregularities to the attention of the appropriate leader(s) in time to get needed changes discussed and posted.

I think it would be a great idea if the next game play instruction thread was created as soon as the current one ends. I realize the extent of the DP's responsibilites but it is possible to creat an instruction thread and then go back later and post the proper links and summaries. As long as the thread is created leaders can post instructions.

Yep, I agree on that - the earlier the better. There is no harm in posting it early.
