i'm trying to edit the unit values from DyP for my mod but i can't change it without asking for a specific integer. i don't understand, the unit is there with it's attack, defense, and so on but the picture isn't. is there a certain way u have to import stuff in order for it to work or show up on the map. i had another problem with my resources, most of them are invisible. what i'm doing is importing parts from DyP and some from TETurkhan mod. this is how i imported it.

Citizens, Civs, Civ Advances, Culture, Eras, Governments, Improvements, Units, and Worker jobs-Dyp
Combat Exp., Difficulty levels, Diplomats&Spies, Gen. Settings, Natural Resources, Terrain, and World Size-TETurkhan

Cities, Colonies, Units are DyP and the World Map and Starting Locations are TETurkhan's. The Player and Scenario data are DyP also.
Is there anything wrong with this and if not, what do i have to do to get the necessary icons so i can edit the units? Also, I tested the game and it loads without errors but crashes as soon as it's done loading. the message that comes up is "Civilization3xd has encountered a problem" i'm getting quite fustrated :aargh: and any help would be appreciated immensely.

You need to also have all the proper graphic files in the proper folders. I suspect that is part of the problem.

Not to mention the PediaIcons.txt file...

i've checked it out and found that all the files are where they should be and fixed the pediaicon problem. the scenario loads properly but everytime the game's about to start, this message pops up.

Civilization3xd has encountered a problem and has to close.

i might have missed something, but haven't found anything out of the ordinary

That particular message sound like the one windows gives when a program crashes.

I'd recommend a reinstall.

I've tried that 4 times, then gone back and maticulously installed my mods, patches, maps, terrain files, ect.. I'm lost, I'll try reinstall without cleaning out the entire Civilization file. I'll just relocate my terrain, scenario, ect.. to a temp folder and see what happens. Thanks for your help though Watorrey, hopefully your suggetion works.

No effect, I still get that error message. I reinstalled everything WITHOUT deleting the entire Civ 3 file like I did before. I installed the terrain and mods and tested the regular game, it works fine. But, my scenario still won't start without crashing. I was thinking that my resource file might be to big. It's 579 KB and the shadows file is 410 KB. I don't know if that would present a problem. The last thing I can think of right now is to create my own resource file so I can shrink it down.
