Information is important to me. I like to look at a screen and get as much at a glance as I can, without having to "remember" what was on the other screen.

When I look at the diplomacy advisor screen I don't get enough information about the civs as I'd like. I do like the trading links, and the agreement lines, they are helpful, but there are some missing peices.

Some how I would like to see a screen that summaries that civilitions history. (gained from embassy information, or traded from other civilisations)

For example:

CIV: England
Government: communist
Population size: xxx
Averge city size: xx
Current Agreements with: xx
Cancelled agreements (not expired but broken)
Current trade items: resources and with who
Possibility of ending an agreement with x to align with me

The Historgraph is my friend but I think it can be used more wisely when it is along side more comprehensive information.

If not a special other civ page, how about at least a roll over that shows, some at a glance information and possible trades that we might find useful.

I would like to know, the history behind the trading of the civilisation. I would like to know where they are upto, more clearly, techologically, and cultuarally etc. I would like to see statistics about growth for each civilition, the towns on the map and the state of the happiness of the town etc. Chance of a culture flip and all that goes to possibly taking that town.

I don't think extra management is the go, just more information to make a decision.
