Yet another Warhammer 40k Imperial unit! Yay!

The Madusa is a heavy seige mortar that makes up for it's short range with some serious damage infliction abilities.

Note to WH40k buffs ... This is not the wussy Griffon/Griffith (or whatever its called  ) mortar. The 3D model was modelled upon the Mudusa from Forgeworld which itself was modelled upon the original WH40k Seige Mortar.

The unit includes animations for Default, Fidget, Fortify, Attack and Death. The unit also comes with sounds, pedia pics and a units 32.

You can grab it below :)

885k

IMO I recommend putting the Madusa in an upgrade chain that goes Madusa>Basilisk>Manticore

Recommended stats?

Madusa - Move 2 - Range 1 - High bombard power - Rate of fire 3
Basilisk - Move 2 - Range 2 - Medium bombard power - Rate of fire 3 - Blitz (so that it fires twice)
Manticore - Move 3 - Range 4 - Very high bombard power - Rate of fire 3 or more - Lethal land and sea bombard

And one last note - The attack animations for the Basilisk, Madusa and Manticore have been done so they will loop without flaws. This is for those of you who want the units to attack as well as bombard.

Very nice unit! :)
But it's name is Medusa not Madusa or Mudusa... BTW is anyone doing a WH40K mod?

I've got a looooog 'to-do' list, Goldie me old chum.

A pair of dreadnoughts are on the top of the list. Then there's a whole lot of Ork vehicles (Gutrippa, Bonecruncher, Lungburster, Bowlburner etc), Marines (Imperial and Chaos) in Mk5, Mk6 and maybe Mk7 power armour and terminators. After that perhaps drop-pods, demons or whatever else takes my fancy :)

Muffins, please refer to the request list. I've carefully consctructed it, and its dang near complete for the Orks. Not to step on your creative toes here, but howbouts we finish the Impy Gaurd Vehichles first?

I have no idea what any of those are, but I still can't wait to see them anyways. :D

I don't do requests :p ... and your big list is just a big list of ... er ... whats the word? ... begins with 'r' ... sounds like 'bequest' ... er ... it's on the tip of my tongue ...

I make units for pleasure, goldie me old chum, and not for mods or request lists :) ... so there
