Only 6 people (7 including myself) can take a part in this story, the reason for this is realism. Were going to the other continent, so it's not exactly right is someone who is suppose to be across the sea is all of a sudden here. Please sign-up, when 6 people are signed up I will start the story.

After not enjoying his stay at the local temple, Hydrino is ready to try something different. This "new world" has his adventure-sense tingling. Because he finds the current continent dull and boring, he sees Strider's proposal as a grand journey and signs up.

Ankka notices the poster and decides to go for it... there's nothing to lose, really.

I am a Musician (Wolfgansan) who is in search of the music of the New World, so I'l join

Hear Hear! The famed SaaMsan and his group of ... odd interns(don't worry; they're like carry on luggage) wish to sail to this new world and seek what it may offer.
SaaMsan has experience in negotiating deals and is for some reason refered to as MoT.

Ankka notices a weird group of 15 people walking to the sign and nodding... one of them seems to be the brains, as the 14 others just follow him and copy his doings...

Oh, but it's SaaMsan, the funny guy with 14 plain stupid interns.

BlackHeart pops out of his underground "house" after hearing about an expedition to the new world. He signs up and brings along a few "tricks" to amaze the savages in the new world.

*After just recently ariving back from the war with rome, nobody wanders around the town, he is still covred in blood and green war paint and now he walks with a limp. He comes across the adverstisment. then he goes home, backs his bag, hugs is dog and walks down to the local habour*

IMO, we should head to Berlin. There we can do all sorts of crazy stuff with Bismark, and see if we can... do stuff.

Plus, the blue path gives us tundrability.

The Lord of Odawara offers to fund the trip, on the condition that it bring him back treasures of great beauty and value in gold. He will stay at home, naturally.

For example, that ivory looks nice. Bring me some of that. And anything else really exotic you can lay your hands on. Not lederhosen exotic, valuable exotic.

Hydrino wants to "visit" (rampage) the iron mines of Nuremburg, then head for a "visit" to Konigsberg. From there we can decide. But Mr. Quatton is wondering how sturdy the boats that we're going over in are. Hydrino has heard that the original galley's survival was just a fluke.

I'd like to visit the Indian war front and see how the armies of the New World fight. See if they have any advantage in tactics over us.

Ankka doesn't really know the layout of the world, as he hasn't visited the map room for ages, so he decides to just go with the flow at this point. Later differences might happen.

Legion looked over the crews work in getting the ship prepared to leave, which would be in just half an hour. Everyone was already aboard and settled for the long journey, Blackheart and Ankka was looking over the crews progress just several feet away. Regentman, Classical Hero, and Nobody was inside. Likely gambling away some money. Saam was no where in sight, but he could hear what sounded like cheering on the port side, so he figured he was somewhere over there.

This was to be the second ship to sail to the new world, the first non-military craft. Of course, there was a very good chance they'd never be seen again, but he was willing to take that chance. Afterall, if he made it through this journey alive, his name would be written down in the histories of both worlds.

With another glance at the crew, and realizing they were ready to go, he looked towards the Captain and with a small nod said "Let's do this."

Wolgangsan wants to see all the delights of the New world. My first priority is to see the beautiful elephants of Germany, then we can see what else the continent has to offer.

Ankka got seasick very fast and was after that found almost always leaning oveer the back of the ship vomiting.

Wolfgangsan goes over to Ankka. He says to him "you are a wuss. If you knew you could get seasick, then why did you come on this trip?" He gives him a pat on his back and that cause Ankka to :vomit: again. With that, Wolfgangsan goes off laughing. :D

Ankka starts explaining when he has emptied his stomach.

"Well, I haven't been on a ship ever before this, so how could I know this was so horrible?"

Hydrino begins exploring and inspecting the ship. He needs to know how sturdy this vessel is.

BlackHeart begins to wonder if it was a bad thing to bring matches (do they even exist in this time period? not the modern type, but whatever they used way back then) on board the ship.

The Lord of Odawara is unsure over whether or not he is funding this trip, but would like some ivory in return anyway. Or else the travelers will be met with angry Domo-Kun upon their return. ;)

After hearing Ankka's response, Wolfgangsan laughs even louder. "Some of us must have stonger stomachs than others."

"Yeah, guess so", answers Ankka and returns to the back of the naval vessel.

Laughs at the Lord of Odawara considering that BlackHeart serves for the imperial army and is "immune" from political intrigues.

BlackHeart stealthily tears off a piece of the mast to use for a cigar with some cocoa plants he smuggled aboard.

Hydrino advises blackheart not to take apart the vessel. It could sink at anytime, thus doesn't need the help.

Blackheart laughs at Hydrino's comment.

Hydrino is appalled at blackheart's and Nobody's comments. He begins his search for Strider to see how far we've got to sail on our almost certain death ship.

Ankka hears that and hopes he will be so seasick he won't notice if he drowns... :vomit:

4 Days into Voyage

"Captain! How long do you think it's going to take us to get to the other coast?" Legion said, "I'm guessing around a month."
"Ahh, I'd say around two months, maybe more, maybe less. It depends on the wind and the current." he replied, "but at this rate, we should be there around two months."

Legion headed out onto the deck, leaving the captain alone to his thoughts. Two months? More than he expected, is there a possible way to knock it down some? Strider decided to rest inside of his cabin and think about it for awhile.

Out Of Character: Right now, while were on the voyage, just start up conversations with eachother, etc. Unless I say pirates attack (which is kind of doubtful in deep waters) theres not much that we can do, but it will get entertaining soon.

Wolfgangsan walks up to Strider. "I hope the seas do not get too rough, because it might become a chunder-a-thon. I have heard that it might take 2 months to get to the other continent. Wouldn't it be quicker to swim there?"

"What is this vessel called, by the way?" asks Ankka. "A curragh or galley or what? And does it have a name? Like Summerflower... or Paperbasket."

Hearing that the trip will take two months Ankka decides to start getting used to the ship and not be seasick anymore. Let's see how it works.

"I propose we name this fine vessel the Titanic! Surely nothing that would ever sail the seas would be a match in size for this ship."

"I am not sure of that name, blackheart," Hydrino comments. "Reading the best selling book, The Other Earth, I remember a tale of a vessel named 'Titanic.' Not a very happy ending."

Ankka decides to propose a name too.

"In my opinion we should name this Estonia."


OOC: try and figure that out. Dunno how known that ship is in the world..

Blackheart marches around the ship impatiently. He continues to smoke at least once a day to work off his boredom.

"When the hell are we going to be landing?!?!?!"

Ankka has been pondering that too, and wonders if someone of the leaders of the ship could provide some maps of the route and stuff.

Hydrino thinks an updated map would be great. The rocking of the unstable ship is beginning to drive him mad.

BlackHeart is so bored that he starts lighting live fish, which were caught by fishermen on the ship, on fire. He let's them burn for a while then casts them back into the sea to warn all the other fish not to think bad thoughts about the rickety boat!

Strider woke up, quickly grabbing the dagger next to him and looking around for what woke him. He quickly relaxed though, only to become exicted once again as he heard "Land!!! I see land!!!" from outside.

He quickly rushed outside, and finding the young man on duty roughly grabbed him by the shoulder and spun him around yelling "Where!!? Where's the land!!?"

"That way, sir!" the young man replied, pointing in a northwest direction.

Strider turned around as everyone, awoken by the screams, came onto deck. As the first lights of dawn slowly came over the horizon, the city of Hiroshima came into view.

Hydrino awakes from his slumber to the yelling on board. "Land, land!" filled his ears. Hydrino is relieved that the voyage aboard the rickety ship is ending. He reaches into his pack shouting, "Fresh wine for all!" and takes a swig.

"Hiroshima? Isn't that in Japan, where we just left from?" thought Ankka aloud. "Or is my knowledge on the map just antiquated?"

i like this new harosima, it seems lucky, yep nothing bad ever going to happen to this city

Hydrino realizes his joyfulness might be expressed too early. "Where are we going?" he asks.

"Is the ship's captain an idiot or is this some special route?" wonders Ankka

"Who want to play Poker to pass the time? Maybe we could put things up for grabs. I think this is called gambling." Wolfgang is so bored, he will do anything to pass the time.

Ankka decides not to join the gambling, because he's no good at it and would just lose everything.

He suggests Wolfgansan tries Russian roulette, though..

BlackHeart wonders where the leader of the expedition has gone to.

The boat slowly heads for Nuremburg, while a boat quickly sets out to intercept them. When the boats get within talking range, the captain of the new boat yells.

"What is your business in these parts!!!?"

"Where from Japanitca!! We wish to dock in your fair city of Nuremburg!!" Strider yelled back.

"You have traveled so far, but I am afraid the port of Nuremburg is closed! German people have raided the port, and threw several hundred dollars of tea overboard!!"

"Is there any other cities near-by that we may land?" Strider replied back, quickly noting that Nuremburg is no longer controlled by the German people.

"Yes, to the south the port of Bremen should be open!!"

"I thank you for your kindness, and we will set off at once!" Strider replied and turning to the captain of the ship, quickly muttered "This isn't turning out to be like we planned, this isn't what we planned at all."

Hydrino begins to wonder if coming on this trip was a wise choice. A Chinese dominated continent? :(

It is a shame the revolver hasn't been invented to play Russian roulette :lol:
