I nth Sir Donald III for this position.

I would nominate him for president, but I can't in good consience to that. The problem is, he's too good at being the Domestic Minister. His unbroken string of excellence in this department makes me fear what might happen if we were removed from the office. I fully agree that SD3 would make an excellent president, but he is already making an outstanding Domestic Minister, and why change that?

Question for the canidates: How will you manage our money and what limit will you set for the budget?

Zarn

With Wall Street around the corner, we must keep above 1000 gold at all times.

I will try to use the gold to enchance commerce and keep people happy, but I will not go over board with spending. Ultimately the decision is not up to me (but the people), but if it were, this would be how I would do it. I hope the citizens of this grand nation share my view.

I am for a peaceful, commercialized, and scientific Japanatica.

@ Zarn, but we are Militaristic and Religious, not Scientific and Commercial. We should have played as the Greeks!

Question for the candidates: If it's a choice between the two, would you prefer to have a tech lead or a large treasury?

Zarn
Oct 26, 2004, 11:01 AM
I prefer a tech lead, but since I and others that will contribute are veterans (not only demogame players but civ players), there shouldn't be a need to go with only one.

Yes, I know about our traits. The military trait has done its job. It has brought Rome to its knees. The religous trait has one other major job to due. I believe it will be needed for one last government change, which will seal the deal on going to war, only when provoked. Our UU is a balance between offense and defense. It is as strong as (and as fast as) a knight on offense and as strong as a musketman on defense (for only 10 more shields).

We exploited Japan's bonuses very well, but now is the time to seperate oursleves and push forward to get a strong tech lead. I mean a STRONG tech lead. We should blow them away, so war isn't needed.
