I apprieciate your nomination Mhcarver, but while I am planning on running for office again this term I plan on running for govenor of the new Roman province so I decline your nomination.

I'll second MOTH, Ashburnham and Cyc for this position.

I accept the nomination and offer the following platform if elected:

1. I will not run for Culture minister for term 5.
2. I will increase the level of activity within the culture ministry by
a. analyzing the cultural situation of all of our border towns.
b. working directly with the governors and ministers so that the appropriate cultural improvements and wonders are built so that we can remain or become the cultural leader in any border area.
3. I will establish a doctine via discussion and polling. Line items on the doctrine include: the building of wonders; the building of cultural improvements; citizen support for cultural rushes; and citizen support for the execution of culture wars.
4. I will do everything in my power to finally get Swazi to culture flip to us. ;) Ok, its not much in my power as its a game engine thing, but this will be part of the doctrine.

Obviously, MOTH has not read the Chat Log...

Just reading the log now. I'm on a different PC than usual and JIRC wouldn't work and I can't install MIRC on this one. One point of my platform shot down already.

Reasons You Should Elect Me
1. I trained under the venerable Snipelfritz, who showed me the ropes of Culture Ministration.
2. When Snipelfritz had to resign, I took charge and gained experience in being the actual Culture Minister.
3. Under my administration, we were able to build not one but two Wonders, the first two of our Demogame!
4. I worked with the Judicial Branch to help outline the exact powers of the Culure Ministry, something I hope to continue into the next Term.
5. I'm a snappy dresser.

would we a good candidate for either minister or Deputy.

Of the nominations I received this election period, Cultural Minister was the one I wanted to accept the most. The thought of putting a Cultural Report together again sparked some memories for me. But we have two excellent candidates running for this position already, and I don't want to take away any of their steam. Therefore, I must Decline this nomination and wish MOTH and Ashburnham the best of luck.
