I was ahead of the competition, many cities to my credit (+20) and far into the medieval age, my culture fastly taking over the surrounding land... till my hugely neutered neighbor the Zulu (3 cities) found that I had a map of Japanese land off far away. Then suddenly in 1760 AD, It all went wrong... The Impis and the Inmortals of my distant neighbor invaded my trading posts (full of incense, silks, etc) razed them to the ground. Slowly , my lazy democratic empire's army came to. 6 knights, 8 swordsmen, 2 bowmen. Then the Japanese attack... The atrocities of all my luxury supplies burnt to the ground... With my huge army, the citizens revolted, sending my economy into shock... Without my 140 gold/turn, my army was doomed... The squadron of 10 elite Impis, 8 Inmortals finished them off.... Kish, Nippur, Mponde, Babylon, Ngome, Ur, Uruk fell in one turn killing 1 million of my 2 million population.... My cultured cities falling to the enemy.... The Impis upon Babylon, the last great city.. The enemies refusing my emissaries.... I took the only way out....Impaling myself before they came through the gates....
