I have an urgent need for Courthouse in Kagemusha, and will ask for a rush buy for court house as soon as possible, in order to bolster our French border. This should be rushed when Kagemusha reaches three citizens in two turns. Secondary I want to build a barracks for our Northern Military Headquarter, where I am going to disband 2 warriors, a swordsman and a horseman next turnchat. After the barracks we should line up some city walls, as this is a border town.

Sir Donald III Oct 31, 2004, 08:30 PM Starting sometime in the Second TC, we would likely be able to construct Railroads.
Since the benefits of railroads are the same (instant transportation and +1 to Irrigation or Mines) whether the rail line is direct or serpentine, I would like you to ask your Mayors which tiles they would most like to be improved upon. Mined and Irrigated Tiles will be the only ones considered for these requests. (Doesn't mean I won't RR un"improved" tiles, but I would like to see your preferences.)
TimBentley Oct 31, 2004, 09:54 PM Upon further investigation, I have discovered that a courthouse in Kagemusha will not reduce waste or corruption until railroads are placed or we enter a less corrupt government. I will reinvestigate for the next turnchat.

Please keep the budget in mind when considering building improvments and units. Much of our budget is dependent on foriegn nations. Also, more units under a 'free' government (if we revolt) would mean a much higher maintainence.

modern troops, and take out small attacks with more old material.
Cavalrys cannot upgrade.

I jsut discovered that Kitakinu is the prime shipbuilding province in Japanatica, with three major ports. Try to factor in a total of three privateers here within some time, and I will get the rest from the other provinces. One Privateer per city :)

It is possible that Osgiliath will be selected to build Universal Suffrage. I understand that you would want to build a Factory first. This is fine. If you wish to use the Palace as a pre-build for the factory it is available for your use.
I expect to have confirmation on Universal Suffrage by turn chat #3.

Edit: I decided that with my laborer reallocation and possible railroading, Bentropolis won't be waiting very long for an aqueduct, so that rush is unnecessary.
