Hi,

I have only got the original civ3, not any of the expansion packs. I tried opening some of the scenarios here, but got a message about them being corrupt, probably because they were for a different version. I was wondering if there were any scenarios here for the original civ3 - in particular a WW2 style scenario.

2/ This is the wrong forum to as the questions, this area is only to post completed scenarios. I will ask a mod to move it back to C&C main forum.

3/ Not really. There is no real way of making a scenario for "vanilla" Civ3. And nobody would care for it anymore since Conquests is out.
If you can (money for instance), try to buy Conquests as you will have 9 scenarios and you will be able to play the interesting scenarios created by users (only Conquests allows creation of real scenarios and it adds lots of new stuff and units as well).
It is really worth the money.

If you go back to the the last pages you'll find scenarios for vanilla civ.

If you buy the extension (and I assure you you won't regret it) be careful not to buy Play the World but Conquests (as Conquests actually has PTW inside it for the important part).

oh right, how much would you expect to pay for conquests now? is it quite new, or old?

Also, how are the scenarios made, is there a scenario editor in conquests?

The scenarios are rather good, and the sc here even better. Of course, there is an editor.
