Ive noticed how ppl can make terrain thats got a few different versions, so it looks more realistic over a map. I was wondering if we could do that for roads? i.e. make some thicker..others thinner..some hardly noticeable at all?
im just wanting to get rid of the totally uniform map u get towards the end of the game.
any ideas?

Here are a few versions of roads. I believe that there are many more but my shift is ending, so I cannot look anymore tonight.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that the search function on CFC has been disabled for a long time now, which is a major pain in the tuckus.

yea, would make life easier.
But does anyone understand better what i mean? Ive noticed some road mods mean buildings appear at certain road intersections etc... why not make the road go clear at certain intersections.
that or Civ4 needs a button to turn off roads! (or all but the major city linking roads!)

No prob, slozenger!
There is a "search" function for the forums but it's still hit-n-miss. I have 'net access at work so I'm on this site four days a week(for the last year :crazyeye: ) so I have a pretty good idea what's here and what isn't.
As for turning "off" the roads at intersections...I don't see why that can't be done(I'm no modder myself, but it sounds possible). I would recommend posting a request.
