Do you think there is a possibility that Team smackster already finished? There graph hasn't changed in a long while.

Based on year and score I would guess that they decided to take a break overy the holidays.

Just guessing though.

They also have started a game for Team smackster in the SG forum, and I thought that might be because their SGOTM had finished. Anyway, it isn't a big deal, just an observation.

Preflight check: Rush a few Cossacks around the FP core. Trade WM’s around for mucho dinero. Rush a court in Zimbabwe and a library in Stockholm

IBT: Beijing Cossack -> Cossack; Zimbabwe court -> market (and all 12 can work); Canton Cossack -> cossack; Stockholm library -> harbor; Tsingtao Cossack -> Cossack

T1: 1060AD Japanese Front: Upgrade a bunch of knights on their way to the Japanese front. Decide to switch Beijing to a worker as we don’t have enough back there and the city is over-irrigated now that it’s at size 12. Also, a lot of foreign workers head back towards the FP core to correct this problem.
Setup to take Tokyo next turn.
On the Spanish front: At Barcelona: Army kills pike and we take the town + settler.

IBT: Lose a Cossack to a Jap MDI
Beijing worker -> Cossack; Ulundi court -> market; Nanking Cossack -> Cossack

T2: 1070AD Japanese front: @ Nagasaki: knight kills spear (2/4); 4/5 knight kills spear and we take the town.
@ Shimonoseki: Cossack kills horseman and we enter our GA! We take the town, sinking a galley
@ Tokyo: horseman Army kills spear and we take the town + worker
Spanish front: @ Seville: Knight army kills spear and we take the town, destroying the Spanish.

IBT: Shanghai Cossack -> Cossack; Indus worker -> worker

T3: 1080AD Moving troops up to the front lines. Egyptian troops are healing. Japanese troops are blocked by Iroquois units.

IBT: Beijing Cossack -> Cossack; Moscow Cossack -> Cossack; Canton Cossack -> Cossack; Nanking Cossack -> Cossack; Newcastle spear -> Lib
Arabs complete Sistine’s

T4: 1090AD Japanese Front: @ Osaka: Cossack kills spear (3/4); Cossack kills spear and we take the town (1/4) + worker
Build an embassy with the Iroquois (due to border issue, I want an RoP with them). Sign RoP with Iro, giving them gems.
Rush Library in Lug so I can begin the setup on the Aztecs.

IBT: Barb galley sinks a galley near dyetown; Nidaros court -> Cossack; London lib -> market; Bjoergvin Cossack -> ‘duct; Shanghai Cossack -> Cossack; Isandlhwana Cossack -> Cossack; Lugdunum lib -> market; buffalo lib -> musket; Darhan lib -> harbor; Indus worker -> worker

T5: 1100AD Still setting up. Moving thru the Jap jungle is not fun but we should take 2 towns next turn. Also, I’m getting some more units over to the Egyptian area so we can start taking towns there.

IBT: Beijing Cossack -> Cossack; Moscow Cossack -> Cossack; Canton Cossack -> Cossack; Tsingtao Cossack -> Cossack; Coventry spear -> lib; Tugela musket -> harbor

T6: 1110AD Japanese front: @ Izuma: Cossack kills spear (3/4); Cossack kills spear and promotes (2/5) and we take the town
@ Satsuma: Cossack kills spear (3/4); Cossack redlines but dies to spear; Cossack kills spear and we take the town. They are down to an OCC.
Sign RoP with Aztecs for Invention

IBT: renew peace with England; Madrid worker -> worker; Nidaros Cossack -> Cossack; Shanghai Cossack -> Cossack; Bapedi ‘duct -> market; Nanking Cossack -> Cossack; Warwick lib -> duct; Indus warrior -> barracks; Yokoho spear -> barracks; Shimonoseki warrior -> harbor; Americans finish Leo’s;

T7: 1120AD DoW on the Aztecs: @ Entremont: Cossack kills Aztec MDI, netting 2 slaves
@ Tlatelolco: Knight army kills spear (13/13); Cossack redlines but kills spear
@ Teotihuacan: Cossack kills pike (2/4); Cossack kills spear (4/4); Cossack kills spear (3/4); Cossack kills MDI and we take the town + 4 slaves
@ Texacoco: Cossack kills spear and we take the town.
@ Tenochtitlan: Knight army kills pike (5/13); Cossack kills pike and we take the city (1/4) Outside of town: Cossack dies to MDI (1/4); Cossack kills MDI (4/4)
On Egyptian front: 2 more Cossack have arrived so it’s time to stop dilly-dallying. Build an embassy in Thebes and see that there are only 2 spears defending.
DoW on Egypt: @ Thebes: Cossack kills spear (4/4); Cossack kills spear and we take the town.
Position 2 Cossacks for Giza next turn.

IBT: Beijing Cossack -> Cossack; Zimbabwe market -> Cossack; Moscow Cossack -> Cossack; Oslo market -> Cossack; Ulundi market -> Cossack; Murcia market -> cossack

T8: 1130AD On the Japanese front: In Aztec lands, ¾ Cossack kills warrior, netting 2 slaves (2/4)
@ Nagoya: elite knight dies to spear; elite horse kills spear (3/5), leaving a 2/4 spear on top.
@ Tlactopan: raze it with a Cossack (2/4)
On the Egyptian front: @ Giza: Cossack kills spear (2/4); Cossack kills spear and we take the town.
Disband warrior in Chittagong to get musket next turn.

IBT: Shanghai Cossack -> Cossack; Canton Cossack -> Cossack; Nanking Cossack -> Cossack; Chittagong musket -> harbor; Liverpool lib -> worker

T9: 1140AD On Japanese front: @Nagayo: elite Cossack kills spear (2/5) and we take the town, destroying the Japanese
On the Aztec front: @ Tlaxcala: Cossack kills spear and promotes (3/5); Cossack kills spear and we take the town.
Nearby: Cossack kills spear and captures a worker and settler and promotes (4/5); Cossack kills LB
On the Egyptian front: @ Elephantine: Cossack kills spear and we take the town.
Looks like the Iroquois are up to something but not sure what. Start to funnel their troops so we can nail them next turn.
Sell Chivalry to England for 1gpt and 53g so we can short rush 1 more Cossack.

IBT: Beijing Cossack -> Cossack; Nidaros Cossack -> Cossack; Moscow musket  -> Cossack; Ulundi Cossack -> Cossack; Isand Cossack -> Cossack; Tsingtao Cossack -> Cossack; Ngome harbor -> musket

T10: 1150AD On Egyptian front: @ Memphis: Cossack kills spear and we take the town + 5 workers
@ Pi-Ramesses: Cossack kills spear and we take the town.

I’m not attacking anymore Aztec towns as I want the last one for peace.
I am suspicious of the Iroquois as they have a lot of fast units in our land, seemingly looking for empty towns. I was trying to get the front stabilized before declaring and picking off those units.
I’m not sure what to do with the Egyptians. Obviously, don’t take the capitol. We need to get their 1 tile island for peace. Imho, get as many island towns as possible for peace, then start going after the Americans.
We are up to about 50 cossacks. Recommend we keep short rushing them via muskets with 10% research on.
I'm very tired so please go thru the builds very thoroughly.
good luck :)

Ok, I got it. I haven't opened the save, but things look great. It is a bit late right now, so I'll download the save in the morning and take a look. From the strategic map and the turn log it looks like the first thing to do is to make sure we have the iroquois units covered and then start the campaign against them.

I can't really tell what is going on in the short island, but I guess we will have to keep pushing there as well.

I'll probably sneak off into a back room and play tomorrow afternoon. I should be able to fend off the family long enough.

Please let me know if you have any more suggestions/ideas.

dear jeff,
look at the roads very closely. we need to straighten them out, beginning SE of London (iirc).
the short island is going well, but you'll be up against jungles and mountains now. i've left a couple cossacks with movement in case you want to redirect them against america. egypt is a complete pushover and probably should be ignored for a little while, making america the next logical target. i've also setup a ship-chain between our original island and the spanish town of madrid (i think?).
but, your right, the real goal is the iroquois. thier knights are on poor defensive territory now so if you want to attack them on the ibt, you can, though you are not setup for an rop rape.
aztecs are down to 2towns and i was hoping to get one for peace but you could probably take the one on the long island with a cossack or 2 (and a bunch are in the area).
good luck :hammer:

Excellant turnset G-Man :hatsoff:

No more Spain and Japan, Aztecs & Egypt on the ropes and we're now in our golden age. I agree with putting Egypt on the back burner. Maybe keep a couple of Cossacks pillaging until she's ready to give up the 1-tile island. Same for the Aztecs, take a city for peace. There's no reason to honor the peace treaties at this point (is there?), then take the last city to remove flip risks. We probably need to get a couple of galleys to the west. There are some miscellaneous cities on the mountain island that will need to be razed to complete the win and now is as good a time as any.

It's :hammer: time for Jeff

After Action report
Not as much as I wanted, but some fun turns.

France is at war with Arabia. It was my intention to backstab them in the next few turns. This will catch their forces on the far side of their nation.
Neither Egypt nor the Iroquois have yet been willing to part with their 1 square towns.
For the Iroquois town I suggest rushing some galleys and starving it. I rushed the first one this turn.
For the Egypt one, I started moving cossacks on the western edge of the long isle into position to ferry over to the mountanous area near the new Egyptian capitol. I suggest we get 5 or 6 cossacks over there to clean up. (I had about that many headed toward the pick up point on the nw tip.)
I realized that I forgot to quell resistance in Cattaraugus, so send a cossack to whip them into shape.
Merw is rioting, I uploaded the save and then realized I hadn't fixed that.
Don't attack Centralia. I pillaged most of it's improvements, but I think the Iroquois 1 square city is the next in line for their capitol, so we can't take it.
I left a little money to $$$ rush stuff. I suggest using all cash at this point to rush stuff on the short island. America just started showing Muskets, so this could get painful.

very nice progress jeff :hammer: muskets just mean more fun :) can we see thier salt? while killing egypt is fun, we'll finish faster if we concentrate on india and america 1st, since they are stronger. i doubt egypt will ever mount any significant threat, but india and america will be a real pain if they reach the IA or start fielding frigates.

Their salt is on the far edge. We could send something over there to pillage it, but I needed everything just to take New York.

while killing egypt is fun, we'll finish faster if we concentrate on india and america 1st, since they are stronger. i doubt egypt will ever mount any significant threat, but india and america will be a real pain if they reach the IA or start fielding frigates.
I agree. All short island builds and home island builds should go against america and india.
What I was proposing, was a force of 6 cossacks from the long island to move up and start killing the Egyptians on the mountainous zone.

In a few minutes I'll post a screenshot explaining my thoughts.

Got it, but will wait awhile to play. Nice turns, jeff.

jeffelammar
Dec 29, 2004, 01:59 PM
Ok. Fun with photoshop :)

The attached images include

1. American Salt. It may be worth it to send a cossack or two over to pillage it.

2. The Cossacks that I was sending to the mountainous island area.

3. My intended crossings to the mountainous land. I had intended to send 3 or 4 up to the north facing arrow and then several more along the western facing arrow.

4. An intended route for the cossacks that land. The idea being to end up with them clearing out the mountains and becoming availiable for India cleanup if necessary.

A few more notes.
1. France will sign an ROP for several luxuries. It may be worth doing so we can ROP abuse them in a one turn attack. If you chose not to, we should still attack them as soon as possible. Their forces are currently attacking arabia.

2. Byblos - For the last 4 turns the egyptians have been "we're getting close to a deal" to give us Byblos for peace. If we can take out one or two more cities, we should have them. A galley is on its way to near byblos. When the forces are availiable, we should use it to transport troops to take out the Egyptian city on the other island near there.

3. I think the Iroquois 1 tile is going to be a pain. At this point I have started rushing galleys near there to starve it.

4. Related to the above. we may want to research toward frigates faster than we currently are. If we get Frigates we can bombard that city to the stone age.

CKS
Dec 29, 2004, 02:31 PM
Great jobs, guys. Before my last turn I had thought that 10 cities in a set was unrealistically high, and I was amazed that it wasn't. It seems that we are now shooting for 20.

I'm in favor of sending those cossacks on the west end of the long island over and up the mountains. Starting the mopping up there won't delay things elsewhere much, and wandering through the mountains is going to take a while.

I think it is probably worth pillaging the American saltpeter.

Have we put anybody on the 1 tile islands clumped down to the south? It'd be a real pain to finally get the Iroquois island only to have someone settle those.

Good job getting the French and Arabs at war. This should make it rather easier to sweep through them. It was nice of the French to build Bach's for us, too. That should help our score a bit.

1255 AD (1) - Captured Chicago, signed RoP with France.

1260 AD (2) - Golden age ending.

1265 AD (3) - Capture Khurasan, Anjar, Baghdad, and Trotsky rises from battle.

1270 AD (4) - Capture Mecca, Caughnawaga, Washington, San Francisco, Buto, Abydos, Damascus. Raze Busiris.

1275 AD (5) - I didn't get the tiniest bit of luck this turn. Cossacks lost left and right to fortified spears and pikes without terrain bonuses. Capture Dover, Aden. If the RNG had even approached fair this turn, we would have captured four more. English destroyed. 8 civs left.

1280 AD (6) - Starts off like the last turn, but things do turn around. Capture Philadelphia, Miami, Umtata, Kufah, Basra, Muscat, Mansura. Zulu destroyed. 7 civs left.

1285 AD (7) - Capture Calixtlahuaca, Hieraconpolis, Bukhara, Aleppo, Najran, Gandasetaigon, Oka. Aztecs destroyed. 6 civs left.

1290 AD (8) - Capture Fez, Yamama, Fustat, Boston.

1295 AD (9) - There is a pikeman in Gayagaahe that just won't die. Two cossacks failed to kill it earlier and popped a leader for them, and then two more just failed. RoP rape France. Sign RoP with India to prepare for RoP rape of them. Capture Shiraz, Jaipur (American), Athribis, Edfu, Chondote, Tours, Avignon, Lyons, Toulouse, Amiens,. Arabs destroyed. 5 civs left.

IT - I think Egypt's capital's borders expanded or something, because our trade route between center island and big island was cut off, causing civil disorder. I didn't bother fixing any of it, as I was hoping we could find out for sure where the problem was.

1300 AD (10) - Capture Besancon, Cherbourg, Paris (in a hugely risky attack), something Iroquois. Made peace with Egypt and got the 1 tile island, and that solved our happiness problem. French apparently just learned Military Tradition and rushed some cavalry. This isn't good.

Only India and France have any sort of a military left, and France doesn't have much. The RoP stab of India isn't set up yet, but some Cossacks in the what was Arabia were being sent west for transport, and there are other units coming from all over. I think that what is in place will be able to take care of France, though the situation isn't terribly strong at the moment. And we might have triggered their Golden Age. Still, we got three leaders there so have some more armies there. Haven't posted too much, because it is pretty self explanatory at this point.

This will probably be the last set played. Good luck, CKS!

Talk about opening a can of serious whooop-ass.

Nicely done. I feel like a slacker for merely destroying the Iroquois :)

About the only thing I would change is our research. I don't think navigation does us much good, but I think we need Magnetism so we can get Frigates to bombard the Iroquois 1 tile city.

Also, we have a bunch of caravels near that city. They should probably occupy the food bonus tiles around there to hopefully start starving them.

Oh and

That was some brilliant play.

One other note: You do get points for foreign workers. I set up a scenario where I could either join regular workers or foreign ones in 4000. I got the same score in 3950 either way.

bed_head7
Dec 30, 2004, 02:14 AM
Oy, sorry about Navigation. I turned off research since I wasn't sure that we needed anything else, and I have been cash rushing 2-3 caravels/turn to completely surround Tyendenaga (Iroquois 1-tile island). The ones in the area were trying to block the Iroquois caravel, in case it was headed somewhere with a settler on board.

Thanks for the compliments, even though the numbers are only really impressive because of the situation. Any of us would have been in the 40-50 range. Unfortunately, I am now nearly positive that smackster's team is done, as team members have posted in other threads. So we fell a little short, in all likelihood, but still a great game by all.

The 10 turn thing assumes we can somehow get Tyendenaga, which isn't a sure thing. The Iroqouis may be down to their capital and Tyendenaga, and the process will be drawn out because I didn't research towards Magnetism.

CKS
Dec 31, 2004, 06:47 PM
Well, it was close, but I wiped out the Iroquois on turn 10. I went ahead and pushed enter to submit the turn after our win. Here is that save. http://gotm.civfanatics.net/saves/sgotm5/jeffelammar_SG005_AD1355_01.sav
I've also attached the end of turn file for 1350 AD.

These turns were nervewracking for me, because there was so much stuff to manage, mostly getting units where they needed to go. I was sure I was going to screw something up, but nothing went horribly wrong. I left a lot of units stranded in transit at the end, but I guess that doesn't matter.

Turn 0, MM some cities, Egypt offers ROP, I accept.

Turn 1, Switch to Physics, but slowly. I need money to rush caravels. Destroy Strasbourg, take Rouen and Grenoble.

Turn 2, Take Seattle - Americans destroyed.
IBT Caughnawaga flips.

Turn 3, Take Bayonne, Poitiers, Caughnawaga, Gayagaahe, Rhiems. Declare on Egypt, take Lisht. Make peace with France, get Marseilles in peace treaty. Get a great leader, disband it for a cossack.
IBT Declare on French when they try to kick me out.

Turn 4, Take El Amarna and Avaris, Egypt is gone. Take Kahnawake. Get another leader, disbanded for a cossack.
IBT Tours flips, French longbow kills our horse army.

Turn 5, Take Orleans, Chartres, Kawauka.

Turn 6, Take Tours - French are gone. Crank up research.
IBT Tyendenaga starts to starve. :)

Turn 7, Declare on India. Take Lahore, Hyderabad, Karachi, Kolhapur, Bombay. Destroy New Delhi, Pune, New Bombay. Reduce Bangalore, Delhi, and Madras to 1 defender each.

Turn 8, Take Delhi, Calcutta, Madras, Bangalore. Destroy Punjab. 1 Indian city left. Iroquois still won't deal.

Turn 9, Take Ganges. Indians gone. Iroquois still won't deal.
IBT Kahnawake flips - frustratingly, I can't get a unit there to attack this next turn.

Turn 10, 1350 AD, Iroquois will give Tyendenaga, now size 2. I make peace. Then I attack Centralia. After taking Centralia, which has about 6 spearmen, I can use my cossacks on the road (in what had been Iroquois territory) to reach Kahnawake. I take it and the Iroquois are dead. This is my first conquest victory ever, and I'm surprised that I have to deal with all the other units before it acknowledges that we've won.

How's it coming?

Funny you should ask. I just got home from work, and had promised myself to finish it off tonight.

I'm really sorry for the delay. It was a combination of work being crazy and the fact that I finally broke down and purchased Conquests. Somehow that made time evaporate ;)

At long last. It probably wasn't really worth the wait. I'll post it to the spoiler tomorrow if no-one has objections.

Team Jeffelammar - SGOTM 5 - AKA The Last ride of the Cossack

The ragtag fugitive tribe breaks the yoke of the oppressors.

The Situation

When (150 BC) last we left (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=2419328&postcount=8) our ragtag fugitive tribe, the Pentad appointed to lead them, had just landed an expeditionary force in the lands that lived under the cruel oppresive yoke of the Chinese and Viking aliens. We had begun the process of purifying all corrupted leaders from the world.

Diplomatic State in 150 BC
War with Scandinavia
War with China

The Next Steps

With a beachhead on the Long Island it was time to continue the wars to rid the world of Ragnar and Mao. As mentioned in the previous report...

We had narrowly failed to take Beijing in 150BC, losing 1 horseman and retreating 3 more. In retrospect this was a good thing for us, but that is a story for later.

The failure to take Beijing in 150BC paid off as The Chinese workers there constructed a nice big triangular pile of rock in the very next turn. In 50 AD we captured Beijing and took possession of the biggest food storage building in the world. ;)

At this point a temporary peace was forged with the Vikings to get the last of their non-capitol cities. A 200 year hour glass was flipped, with the sands counting the years Ragnar had left. At this point, Moscow began mass production of Warriors to be shipped to the Long Island. There they were upgraded Medevial Infantry. Once 8 more of them were on the way, all production in Moscow was switched to Horsemen.

Nomenclature Note: While the American/Indian etc... island could be considered longer than the other island, the populated section of it was much less, so the island with Vikings, China, etc will remain the Long Island.

Meanwhile a Courthouse was rushed in Beijing and plans for a place for the Pentad to meet in. From the Forbidden Palace they would direct the purification of the world.

About this time the nations from the Short Island started founding towns near our homeland. The people rejoiced as there would soon be more towns near home. Production would soar.

Continuing our Plans
War on the Zulu. We began to march through their pathetic forces. While killing them, a small force was used to finish China and, in 310AD our glorious forces captured Shanghai and Mao's head was placed on a pike.

At this point we began discussion of a seriously troubling fact about the world. There were many one tile islands. We would have to be careful not to jump palaces to them, and also to make sure we got them in peace whenever possible.

A one tile island was extracted from the Zulu along with two other small cities. Shortly thereafter a Right of Passage was signed so that the Russian Miliatary could move agains the Mongol Hordes.

In 460 AD we took Stockholm, ending Ragnar's Reign. Back on the home front, we declared war on Spain and America and started taking home island cities. Our second leader arose taking a city from Spain at home and was used to form an army in Moscow.

All's fair when you are the chosen

In 610 AD we finished the Forbidden Palace in Beijing and we were off to the races.

The wars had bogged down on the Long Island so it was decided to finish off the remaining enemies west of America with as much speed as possible. While troops mopped up the Mongols, the ROP was used to position troops by most of the Zulu cities. In 670 AD the backstab took place. and by 730 AD the Zulu had been banished to the Mountainous region in the southwest of the Short Island. All troops then headed for England.

Back to killing them the hard way
In 760 AD we declared on the Indians and in 770 on the English. The Indians had established some valuable cities on the Home Island, and America was next in our way on the march to the east on the Long Island.

Our Knights marched through the English forces like a stone through a wet paper bag. By 850 AD we had most of their big cities in our possession, and in about 910 AD they had been removed from the Long Island.

Meanwhile, our forces finished removing India from the Home Island and began preparation for an invasion of the Short Island.

Dead wood falls and rots
With our soothsayers and tinkerers claiming that they would soon be able to equip our Knights with rifles, we turned our attention to the Celts. They were weak, backwards and easy to kill. :)
They fell easily in 980 AD.

Japan was next on the hit list. Our knights marched into Japan, and in 1050 AD the big prize was ours. We captured Kyoto and Sun Tsu's War Academy was ours. So was the Great Wall, but who cares about defense :)

On the Short Island we were in the process of destroying Spain, finishing them shortly after the Age of the Cossack began.

The Age of the Cossack
We discovered Military Tradition in the 1020 - 1030 IBT and promptly started upgrading Knights on the Long Island. Knights and Medieval Infantry continued the advance on the Short Island.

ROPs had been signed with the Aztecs and Iroquois, so troops moved in on both of them to perform more abuse.

The Aztecs were backwards and fell quicky, then an abuse was set up against the southern Iroquois towns.

With quick moving speed, the forces on the Short Island moved on into Egypt. Reducing them to a capitol, a 1 tile island and a bunch of cities on the Mountain penninsula. The recalitrant fools would still not surrender the 1 tile island, so war remained for a long time.

In 1180 AD, the Arabs demanded furs as tribute. We laughed in their faces and they declared war. Thus was the final conquest of the long island prepared. A military alliance was signed with the French against the Arabs, and the ROP abuse was executed against the Iroquois. We had been unable to part them from their 6 pop 1 tile city, so we made sure their capitol didn't jump there and took the rest of their empire. We started rushing Galleys to starve Tyendenaga down to a point where Hiawatha will concede it.

After the Iroquois, our used our ROP with France to eliminate Arabia. Arabia had been weakened by war with France and was softer than butter on a hot day.

A force of Cossacks landed on the Mountainous penninsula and began to sweep the area of all AI presense.

Pentad member Bed_head7 took over for an absolutely smashing turnset. He captured or razed 47 cities. Including the elimination of England, Zulu, Aztecs and Arabs.

Then it was just mopping up. The only remain military presenses were France and India, and we had an ROP with India. This left if for some quick cleanup and the final negotiations with Hiawatha.

Final Purification
In 1315 AD the French demanded that we leave their territory and we promptly declared war upon them. They were eliminated 15 years later after a short roll through their depleted cities. Guess the Arabs did more damage to them than we thought.

In 1335 AD the last of the militarally competent scum came under our guns. War was declared on India, and they were eliminated 10 years later in 1345 AD.

This left the one remaining pest. Tyendenaga. As mentioned before this city had grown to 6 population and we had been rushing Galleys to starve it down to size.

In 1350 AD the Iroquois were finally willing to give Tyendenaga for peace. We took it and immediately broke the peace. We took the last two Iroquois cities.

Finally our destiny to rid the world of all corrupt leaders was complete. All government was moved to the beach city of Canton where the long underwear was traded in on Hawaiian shirts and frosty drinks served in coconuts.

Rest in Pieces

Looks good to me. But the leader count is probably a little off. In my last turns, I got two or three or four that I forgot to mention. Oops.

Very nice write-up

I'm glad you posted the picture of Tyenedaga as I didn't see that setup during by final turnset.

I hope to see you all on the next one.

Actually, I think the count is accurate. I got the count by taking the last turn save, hitting the end turn and watching the replay. I may have missed one, but it should be close.

As a note both France and the Iroquois got leaders in the late game. (post 1200 AD)

I had to put that in there. I personally found it quite beautiful.

Thanks. It's amazing what you can do with your screen capture program and a (very) small knowledge of how to use PhotoShop. :wow:

One question out of curiousity. One of the mods was to make the Heroic Epic availiable early and allow it to make Armies. IIRC the theory was this would make the AI actually build the things. Did anyone see an army?

Very nice game all! And a very nice write-up also. I especially appreciate the mosaic, and wish that I had photoshop (too $).

@Denyd & G-man, glad to see that you've got yourselves back on to a top-performing team. Good luck to all in #6!

I actually got a free copy of "PhotoShop Limited Edition" when I bought my digital camera a few years back. Of course the camera set me back mucho $$$.

Oh, I thought you got the leader count from logs. Guess I shouldn't have made that assumption. And I didn't see any armies.
