congratz on the fiercest election i have seen in dg history
Zarn Nov 26, 2004, 11:22 PM Errr... Get our of Zarnia's Capital building. :p You have a seperate office with a billiards room, now. It's larger, too.
Sir Donald III Nov 27, 2004, 08:00 AM Actually the real CIA deals with foreign stuff.
You'd be the Federal Blackheart of the Interior. (FBI)
Provolution Nov 27, 2004, 08:03 AM I think I will nominate my coming Deputy Epimethius, as Director of Deviating Explanation Agency (DEA).
classical_hero Nov 27, 2004, 08:15 AM Blackheart, you need to change your line under your UN to reflect your new status.

Haha that's what you think ;)
Sorry Zarn, the CIA has requisitioned the building and since we control the power of the purse and most anything domestic, you lose :p
Thanks all for your unwavering support and much need vote :)
Hail to the new CIA Directorate (me)!!! :D :king:

Buildings are under provisional control. :crazyeye:
*Takes the key to the Billiards Room back*
Since you overstepped your bounds, maybe I should knock down your building and replace it with a local park (with benches).
Note: We still have the Foreign Aid Fund, but you have the power to be rid of it.
I also suggest to create a Budget office to prevent clutter.

We needs a key, we're so deeply rooted you would need a really big shovel to get us out ;). Ha! Who's going to pay for you to knock down the building?

Sir Donald III Nov 29, 2004, 10:34 PM From the Office of the President!
Please Rush Temples in TBD (money was set aside by Zarn), and Tugela. (Tugela's has no funds for it curently, but I hope we can get some.)
We also have a site West of Stuggart that is up for Settling. Provolution has landed a settlement force from the JSS Daveshack nearby. Please conduct debate on this area ASAP. Personal Recommendation is a settlement SE of the Deer they are currently standing on and rushing its Temple ASAP.
We can get Theory of Evolution in 2 Turns at Osgiliath! Recommend a 2 turn HALT (0%) to science and a reseting of our priorities towards the designated ToE techs, Both requires Science Approval. The extra cash can pay for upgrades and rushes, or perhaps a straight cash buy for Communism if the People want it. Afterwards, with a Zulu Peace Deal, we can likely run at Max Sci (100%) for a good while.
Strider Nov 29, 2004, 10:36 PM As I said in the science thread, we'd save one turn of research by simply having only a one turn halt for TOE (0%), if my logical is correct then we lose nothing.
If however my logical is illogical, then please ignore my illogical logic.
Provolution Nov 29, 2004, 11:22 PM Honorable Minister Blackheart
The Japanatican Military Force is now a spent force, we cannot overcome our enemies in entrenched positions as they got riflemen, I would therefore ask to start a discussion and poll on the upgrade of all Japanatican musketmen to Riflemen at the soonest instant. At the same time, I will also ask for reconcilliation after a brutal political campaign for the military, and a proven positive outcome of the military doctrines. We have worked well together before, and we can do it again.
Yours sincerely
Provolution

Amen Prov. Cooperation is the key to anything. I am in favor of upgrading the vast majority of our military so they are all up to date. But please, take down the ridiculous DEA thread. BTW, in the future (for everyone) please post all matters regarding money in the Financial Charges Consortium (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=105976)

TBD has been approved, but Tugela is dependent on what we will do with it after the war (give it back or keep it). Also, does Domestic have control of Tugela or is it part of a province?
Provolution Nov 30, 2004, 03:14 PM I guess it is Kitakinu after Domestic has transferred it over, but Domestic till then.
blackheart Dec 01, 2004, 02:19 PM CIA Instructions 1425 AD
Rush Temple in TBD
<space for military upgrades>
* Keep Science at minimum needed to achieve replaceable parts in 5 turns (should be 80%)
* lux slider at 0% unless cities start to go into disorder
MOTH Dec 01, 2004, 02:55 PM I guess it is Kitakinu after Domestic has transferred it over, but Domestic till then.
According to the Code of Laws, this city is already in a pre-determined province and is therefore administered by Kitakinu.
Nobody Dec 02, 2004, 11:04 PM *a package is left at the main office of the CIA, the package contained a brand new, 15 hundred dollar roman suit with a card saying "To Black Heart, just a gift from your freinds"*
Furiey Dec 03, 2004, 01:23 AM Minister Blackheart
I note that you instructions for the coming Turnchat are:
* Keep Science at minimum needed to achieve replaceable parts in 5 turns (should be 80%)
However, once switched from it's prebuild we will complete Theory of Evolution in 2 Turns giving us 2 free techs. Any reseach done in the meantime will be wasted as we get the tech we are researching free. Keeping science at anything other than 0% until we have got our free techs is therefore a waste of gold.
Provolution Dec 03, 2004, 01:25 AM Yes, keep science at 0 & for two turns. We also need the gold for the military reform and some cultural rushes.

Thanks for that reminder, I had forgotten we had't completed ToE yet. I state in instructions to switch it to 0 til ToE then put it to minimum possible for maximum tech.
Strider Dec 06, 2004, 05:03 PM Science Report:
Refining:
We should beable to acquire Refining at our current rate (100%) in 4 turns. We will lose 319 gold however.
Steel:
WE can research steel at 90% and get it in 4 turns with only a overall lost of 438 gold.
Espionage:
We can research Espionage at 60% and get it in 4 turns with only a lost of 396 gold.
Combustion:
Were going to have to research Combustion at 100%, and will include a lost of 319 gold.
Mass Production:
We can research Mass Production at 90% with a lost of 438 gold.
Motorized Transportation:
We can research Motorized Transportation at 90% with a lost of 438 gold.
Flight:
Were going to have to research Flight at 90% and acquire it in 5 turns, it will include a lost of 370 gold (if we turn it up to 100% we still get it in 5 turns).
Radio:
We can research radio in 5 turns at 100% with a lost of 398 gold.
Note: When I say a "lost" of ??? gold, I do not mean a negative gold per turn. I am talking about extra gold wasted when your research a tech. It will not effect our treasury at all.
Hope this helps some.
Sir Donald III Dec 12, 2004, 11:07 AM Minister Blackheart:
The People have Spoken and the 8 Roman Slaves await integration.
Please examine the great cities of our nation and confer with the Governors to find homes for these poor souls. My personal preference is for these to be placed in cities that already have Foreign Nationals, though not a majority of Romans. (It may have a Majority of Zulu, Babs, or Iroquois, or even Japanaticans or no Majority, so long as there is at least 1 Foreign National.)
Provolution Dec 12, 2004, 11:18 AM Kagemusha is by definition Multinational, and given that Kagemusha, former Roman City Vironicum, just built an Aqueduct. Since some does not want the rightful namechange. Kagemusha City asks under all circumstances, in light that the millenium year old mistake for citynames has not been corrected, for 4 workers of the 8 workers to be repatriated, also in line with the interests in your above statement.

I'm not sure about this idea SD3. I'm all for integration, but increasing the number of foreign nationals in a city with some already? Seems a possible recipe for overthrow and revolt. I will look into this matter though.
blackheart Dec 12, 2004, 04:53 PM Pres SD3,
I have reviewed your request and found that Yatta, Vandopolis, Salamanca, Ominato, Izanaga-No-Mikoto, Hill Valley, Ela Spring, Civanatoria, and Arrakis all meet the requirements.
Of these, I would recommend the cities of Yatta, Vandopolis, Ominato, Arrakis, and Izanaga-No-Mikoto. I suggest that Arrakis get 2 workers, while the rest get one to be integrated. As for the last remaining worker, that is up to your choosing, but Minister-General-Mayor Provolution has request that the worker be integrated into Kagemusha. I chose these cities because their populations are low compared to our national average, especially Arrakis.
As quoted in the presidential thread.
Provolution Dec 12, 2004, 10:12 PM Wellwell, no renaming or many new citizens for Kagemusha...
But I am very thankful Governor Blackheart mentioned to add that worker, this will certainly bolster the French border.
I have to go back to the Russian map again...
Ashburnham Dec 13, 2004, 09:54 AM I would like to point out the following threads for the Domestic Minister..
-Why do we have three unused settlers? (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=107182)
-Colonization 1425 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=106239)
We need to do something about these settlers, Minister. We have had at least one unused settler for 500 years now, surely Domestic can come up with a way to use these Japanaticans usefully.

At this point we can either integrate them or colonize some hellhole somewhere. I prefer integrating.

Provolution Dec 14, 2004, 07:34 AM Minister Blackheart,
I request the matter of how to handle the tundra settler by Stuttgart and its role in the war with Russia to be polled.
DaveShack Dec 14, 2004, 09:40 AM There is a poll, but it was opened by FA.
I suggest the Committee weigh in on the FA poll at a minimum.
blackheart Dec 14, 2004, 02:28 PM Minister Blackheart,
I request the matter of how to handle the tundra settler by Stuttgart and its role in the war with Russia to be polled.
Its role already has been polled, it was decided not to settle and return home, but I will watch the FA poll.
Sir Donald III Dec 26, 2004, 10:49 PM Minister Blackheart.
IGov MOTH has issued a suggestion for the recent vacancy in Zarnia Province. He suggested longstanding citizen and Mayor of Zojoji, Cyc, to be Interim Gov of Zarnia this comming TC. I have contacted Cyc about this and he is interested. I request that you make a recommendation, either for Cyc or for another citizen, within the next 18 Hours. (I have work Tuesday Morning, which is why it is less than 24.) If I do not hear from you either for, against, or alternate in that time, I will proceed with appointing Cyc for this comming TC.
Thank you for your Service.

Cyc is a suitable choice, if he accepts. I am also willing to support anyone else who wants to step into the governor's office.
blackheart Dec 28, 2004, 08:00 PM The building has been rigged with explosives and set to blow! Find yourself a new office Noldy :)
