Can anyone tell me how to play Civ3 without having the CD in my computer? I would like to play directly from the hard drive.

Welcome to CFC!

This is not possible to do without hacking, which you should not do. You can usually remove the CD after you have started a game and it should still work fine.

Is there a particular reason why you want to play without the CD?

Because CDs are the worst information medium ever made. Ever. :rolleyes:

Forewarned: Anyone talking about ways to get around the CD Protection will get a 3 day ban.

Unfortunately, you need the CD in the drive.
