becka.......yes i was in a wreck . hit from behind by a 4wd pickup
and pushed into oncoming traffic where i was hit
by a van and a small car. i was very lucky.
my car was trashed....
no broken bones , but cut and brused up pretty good
some rib pain still and that was back in may. doc says
ribs take a long time to heal.
you don't want to see a pic of that...ewwwwww

Added: After further inspection by my wife she pointed out that our black cat is actually black and white, a tuxedo cat. So the white paws are missing, but on first glance she thought Taco and Jarred (our cat's names). BTW, don't we have an animal thread going somewhere around here?

Well actually, Mookie (black one) isnt entirely black, she has a white 'bef' and belly, Doerak (white one) is getting the same in the hairs from ears to nose, you know if this is old age or a genetic disfunction? She's only about 3 years old after all.

What we use are those sticky roller things. I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but they have a handle on the end of a cylinder-shaped roll of sticky sheets that can be torn off when they get dirty. You roll it across the thing you want to get the fur off of, and it picks it all up. Then you tear off the outer sheet and throw it away.

My company, A 2/14 Infantry, rescued the Rangers and Delta on October 3rd-4th, as depicted in the new movie Blackhawk Down.

The photo was taken just a few days before that.

It was entirely realistic in the events, names and so forth. Much was left out actually (2 hour time constraint) and almost nothing was mentioned about my unit. However, it was a story about the Rangers, not us, so I forgive them. ;)

It doesn't happen as often these days, but technically those COULD have been his nieces. A few generations ago, when women were basically 'baby-factories', it was not uncommon to have siblings with a WIDE range of ages. Nowadays it's more likely an 'accident' as the mother nears the end of her fertile years. Growing up, my best friend had a nephew older than he was. But then his mother was about the same age as my grandmother.:eek: And one of my current friends has a son who is three, but also has a brother who is 8.
