I'd like to have the ability to view advisor reports during the AI moves. At the end of your turn, the engine could take a snap-shot of your advisor reports and open a new window so you can browse them. Of course, the reports would probably have to be static, i.e. you could not change anything and any AI actions affecting your civ would not be reflected until it is your turn.

Like Medieval Total war, in a way? a good idea.

This would indeed be helpful, and by extension of the Domestic Advisor, could allow players to view (but not change) the states of their cities. This reminds me a little of Civ2, where this was possible...

Anyway, I would also like a somewhat releated option of being able to turn off following units that have been issued "go-to" commands, so that they can just move without the screen jumping between a dozen different portions of the map. Since in most cases I already know the route that a "go-to" unit will take, I do not see any point in having to see them travel to their destinations. For those that I want to observe, I can just scroll there, but I certainly will not need to see every one. Such an option would allow me to spend that time looking at advisor screens, for example, which would be more useful and less visually stressful.

Yes, I agree, Trade-peror. No need to track "go-to" unit moves.

I believe that's already an option for that somewhere in Preferences...
(Not viewing the "Go-To" units)

Thanks. I'll try it.
