Seems to be, the site mentions about the released Screenshots, this is the only one they released on their site.

Not much of a screenie, but remember Civ3's unit model screens were also the same they used in-game.
It'd be nice if the same were true with this one :crazyeye:

The view angle is wrong for it to be an in-game shot, but it's very interesting nontheless.
With such a strange mix of Roman/Viking/Zulu/god-knows-what-else dress (chain mail leggings?) perhaps this is a clue to what they mean by "unit upgrades"? Maybe they're thinking about bringing back the unit workshop from SMAC? :yeah:

Nah, it's early project for Civ3 :(
I've seen this one in computer games magazine featuring Civ3 beta-test.

In a 3D engine, the view angle can be changed.
