After playing the Napoleonic Wars scenarios, I've noticed that the game names the saves with the Month listed in first order, rather than the year. This makes it somewhat frustrating to find a particular save at times, as it doesnt seem to be a very logical way of ordering. Instead of being able to see 1800, Jul followed by 1800 Sep, youre faced with a column of Jul 1800, Jul 1801, etc.

My question is, is there a way to alter how the game names the save files? I would like to rearrange it such that the Year is placed in first order in the filename, Followed by the month.

I realize I could do this manually each time, but it seems to me to be much more logical and indeed more elegant to have the game itself order things properly.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

There's no way to change the way that the game automatically names standard saves..
