With that out of the way, what's the latest from MacSoft on the Civ3 1.29 patch? It seems like they're never going to release it or support it - is that accurate? Did they happen to tell anyone why?

If that's the case, let me know and I'll ping Al @ MacSoft to see if I can do something about that. It seems a shame that the last build I did should be sitting in a hole somewhere for over a year now.

I don't have any answers to your questions, but I'd love to see a 1.29 final patch. Is there any chance it might support windowed mode? It would be great to be able to play this game that way because you can actually do other things while waiting for a turn. But I guess it has nothing to do with the 1.29 patch itself..
