View Full Version : How to set the nationality of a city? sekong Dec 15, 2004, 07:10 PM I'm working on modify a historical MOD. I want one city to keep the nationality of its previous CIV. Are there any way to do it? Thanks! sourboy Dec 15, 2004, 07:19 PM Not exactly sure what you seek, but if a city is conquered, the conquered population in the city screen maintains it's cultural graphic. The city, on the other hand, changes it's graphic to the culture of the new Civ (should it be different). I've not heard a way to change population at the game's start, unless you alter the graphic image of the population heads, then assign no other Civ to that culture, but that still doesn't guarantee it unless the first move means conquering of that Civ... sekong Dec 15, 2004, 07:42 PM Such as the scenarios begin from year 1942(?), Minsky is a German controlled city, but its citizen are Russia. I know one is to keep it an empty city, and put German troops next to it. But I'm seeking a better way to do it. sourboy Dec 15, 2004, 07:46 PM I don't it's possible to start a scenario that way. The only way would be to have the city fall in the first turn. There is a 'skip first turn' option in the editor - it may work for this purpose.
