I get this error message when trying to launch the game.
It also takes about a minute for the game to launch then I get this:

Just bought the game (Best Buy) a few hours ago :mad: .

120GIG SATA HD (game installed on this drive)
80GIG Ultra HD secondary
ATI9500PRO
430WATT PS
No imaging software installed at all (never have never will)

This isn't going to end up like CIV3 conquests, is it?

EDIT: Found the problem. Seems they have the wrong info in the manual.
Still takes a seemingly longer time to launch than any other of the games I own.

No, it was a misprint in the manual. You have to use disc 2 to play, which I cant understand. The last game I remember needing a certain disk to run was Tiger Woods Golf 2003. Every other game runs off any disk provided. No biggie though, problem sorted.
And I must say this game is a brillant change of pace from all the FPS's, RTS's and TBS's out there.
I never played the first Pirates and didnt know what expect. I am truly enjoying this game! :goodjob:
