I finallyinstalled bluebox's gotm mod and suffered a ctd during the game loading phase. I was able to select a map/climate variation and civs/difficulty level, but it crashed while it was loading. I'm figuring it may be a pediacon.txt issue. Since I downloaded this months ago, I'm wondering if this is a known issue and has been resolved. ??? If so, please point to the fix. If not, please point me to the fix. ;)

Did you try my all-in-one installer?

Actually the most likely problem is a resources graphics error. You need to make sure you have the GOTM21 resources files active in /Art/

Does the "all-in-one" include bluebox's mod?

I went back to the GOTM38 civilopedia and pediacon text files and my GOTM38 save loaded fine. Same resources files.

The all-in-one installer contains everything. The works. The full Monty. The kitchen sink.

GOTM 32 onwards use out-of-the-box resources. You need to swap them to play GOTMs 20 to 31 inclusive, or bluebox.

Well crap, I can't find them.

Can you hook me up AlanH? :)

What! You don't want to download 25 MBytes just to fix a resources file? :mischief:

Here's a zipped copy of the resources storage folder that comes with the installer. It usually lives in /Art/

Is that "Oops! I found it in /Art/"?

No, it's "oops" for being lazy and not looking in the "all-in-one" installer.
