I bought a CIV 3 from trygames online and lately i bought a CIV3:C from store, and i have huge graphic problems, mostly butoons, some portraits, etc. I found a thread about that, but it died long time ago :( Something like wrong file names in Art folder, but i'm not sure. THX for any help!

Generally speaking, if you bought Civ3 from a download site, like trygames, you will have problems applying patches and/or adding any expansion packs.

The *best* advice I can give you, I am sorry to say, is to by the CD version of Civ3 somewhere, install that, and then install Conquests.

Well, i don't have so much money to buy another CIV3, so maybe any one can send me those files in Art folder? that's ok 2,5 mb of files without folders+ folders:advisors+ leaderheads+smallheads+tech chooser+interface+cities(not sure)= ok. 11,4 mb, but if you know of more that are corrupted and need to be replaced, plz send them also! I would be realy greatfull if someone would be kind enaugh to send them to link removed (but split in 2 parts, i can only recive 10mb at a time, but have big mail box). PLZ understand my situation, thx for all

Sorry, can't do it.

You could find Civ3 pretty cheap, if you looked at the right places. Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006LISQ/qid=1104075492/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1_etk-vg/002-6617426-7936041?v=glance&s=videogames&n=468642) has it for $10.00 new, and used from $7.00.

Well, don't count on it. Piracy is against the forum rules, and unfortunately, posting those files would be a breach of said site rules. Even if they were posted, we'd take the links down or delete the attachments.

Sorry, but that's site policy.

realy? i didn't know about it. But why is it against the rules? Those files alone are nothing, even if applied for demo/trial version. Well, i'll try to look for the demo of this game, maybe i will find some of those files there (if there is a demo ofcourse :) ) Anyway thx for help and info.

Those are the rules that Thuderfall, the site admin, put in to place.

We have a very good relationship with Atari and Firaxis. Part of it is because of our strict no tolerance for piracy. We'd also like to keep that relationship at the level it's at.

Propably you're right. Anyway, they should make a patch for that game, becouse there are many peoples that wasted the money like me. The least i can do is to sell my c:conquest at a lower price :(
