Is it like civ3 or better?

what treaties/ agreements can you have?

It's very similiar to Empire Earth (if you've played that) where you can have peace, war, alliances, give and receive tribute, and set conditions for all of the above.

its hard to understand
i domt understand the diplomacy at all.
like while you're playin, you'll see the other nations talkin to you on the side of the screen.
and I went to war with the mongols, because I noticed them demanding money, but i ignored it.
and he wass like "OK, THATS WAR!"
the diplomacy sucks compared to civ3.

Civ3's is better, but this one is quite simple.
you can do regular chat (by pressing "enter")
then you click the diplomacy button, choose the Civ, and admire it's simplicity.
BUt Civ 3 has it better :)

Diplomacy? I just invade and one of us gets beat down like a dog...

You can always pause the game and review all diplomacy options.

I usually build up almost hundreds before I attack and STILL lose.

Sometimes a rush can net big gains. Even if you hit the other buildings first to get resources...
