Hi. Just bought Civ3 Gold edition (with Play the world) today. I came home to install it onto my XP machine and haven't gotten far at all.
When I pop the CD into the machine the autorun doesn't do anything (although I think it may have the very first time.
In Windows explorere, I see the CD as my D: drive called "CIV3GOLD" with the Civ III icon. If I double click that, a dialog pops up with a title of "autorun.exe - Bad Image". The text displayed says: "The application of DLL D:\jgl.dll is not a valid Windows image. Pleae check this against your installation diskette."
If I do a Start->Run "d:\setup.exe", I get the install shield wizard, then a pop-up box that says "Error installing iKernel.exe: (0x10000)".
I haven't found anything like this in my Google searching, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
