I was playing Civ III on my laptop, and did not notice that the power cord came loose, and the comptuer shut down.

On restart, there is this error: "DataIO Operation System Error: Tile"

Also, I now I can't uninstall or reinstall the game. :eek:

Can anyone assist?

Hi - Welcome to CFC. :)

You shouldn't need to uninstall or reinstall - all that has happened is that the save file has been corrupted. Can you load a different save game or start a new one?

If it is a corrupted install, I can give you instructions on how to manually uninstall (which will allow you to reinstall).
