Im using win XP sp2. When i start the game, after the intro, my monitor switches to powersaving mode. Then everything freezes. I can hear the main menu music bit i cant do anything. I have to restart the computor.

I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Aswell via mainboard drivers.

Please help....

Does your monitor support 1024x768 resolution? civ3 doesnt support a lower resolution afaik. If your desktop is set to 800x600 try changing it.
