You can change your ship colors to be something different.

This was made by changing the ship_color_pir.dds 4x4 file to be blue/red rather than a solid color.

the file contains a FPK file, of 2 DDS files. Pennent and ship_color...

FPKpack can be found in various places, if troublesome, try Google.

Drop either the FPK or any of the DDS files into the Custom directory from Pirates.

Forgot to mention that ship colors come out best when you have Copper Plating, otherwise, you get mostly grey with colored gun-ports.

Just doodling with it. You can do the same thing with your own choice colors. Blue/green is also very nice.
