Taé Shala Jan 09, 2005, 06:55 PM Try to increase graphics to maximum. Sounds weird but helps sometimes. rbis4rbb Jan 09, 2005, 08:50 PM Ok I will try. Taé Shala Jan 10, 2005, 08:49 AM Ok, seems like you have have no idea of computers (no offense). Maybe you should ask a friend to help you. A video card is needed to get computer graphics. Most vidoe cards today are using chips from nvidea or ATI. On the homepage of these companies you can get the latest drivers. Warning!: Don´t change anything if you are not sure what you are doing. You can crash your computer software and then sometimes need to reinstall all including windows! rupertlittlebea Jan 10, 2005, 01:06 PM Get and stay on the internet, then back to the desktop ->Start the Control panel (sometimes under the start key), Display, settings, advanced, adapter, properties, driver, update driver ...(look for better driver) This will do a net search for a better display driver for your current system. You could also navigate to your Video card's Vendor's web site and manually search for the most current one there, but your previous answer implies that finding that web site will kill you. Had that same trouble before. Who made this??? You should do a "system restore -> create a restore point" (usually under system tools somehwere...) before you do any of this. Then if it gives you any problems, you do a "system restore -> restore my system to a previous..." use the one you just created and you should be back where you were. rbis4rbb Jan 11, 2005, 06:00 AM I updated my driver, and was able to exit the game normally. However, if the problem keeps happening, I will be forced to buy a new video card. Thanks for the help guys. |
