This mine is how I imagine that stories should look like by my taste (more like comic book). The only same thing are CELTS. But this is about my tribe Skorodiscs ;) . The title "Celts Strikes Again" is taken as a title of last Album of Serbian music band "Ortodox Celts" becouse I just asumed that there is already a stories about Celts in this forum (were I'm not regular). This is a "reserve" title since I I wanted to call it "Tuatha Da Danaan" which should mean All Our Gods on Celtic (but since I'm not sure about translation I just left it as a Subtitle)

After destroying the town of Birka and found a new settlement Isca we got port on the shore of Ivory Coast and open access to the estern ocean. Celtia was a sleaping giant. The State was big, but without enough recourses, aspecialy salt.
We were on a trail for discovering Nationalisam when English attack us with numerous units...WAR!
Nation was completly surpriced, as well as our soldiers.
With a several losts, we managed to defeat English invaders at the Hague, but from islands of Peel our Government recived terrifyed news. English landed at the town of Delft and attacked it. They killed soldiers and most population. Some people were captured. Town was burned to the ground!!
Country was in state of shock.

All this coused Vikings and Incas and traitoring Egypt to declare war on us.

Our Marines with suport of mighty battleships conquered a small island city of Aarhus. An immportant strategic point. Those victory was celebrated on a main land in the city of Glanum!

Victory aginst Vikings at Stockholm, Won the battle and destroied Copenhagen also, Victory aginst Byzantians at Arausio, Victory at Theveste aginst Egypt, our troops landed on Grand Inca and conquered a city of Vitcos!!!

Years passing and on 1866 - dark clouds.
Rebels of the city of Vitcos recaptured it and joined to Incas Communists Empire. Orgetorix started to had a problems staying on power. Natoin felt tired of wars. The troops were still marching on, but demonstration against the wars were more frequent. Orgetorix signed the peace with Byzantia and Egypt to please the nation, but it was not enough, and society went to a constant riots and anarchy. Meanwhile Dutchia signed military aliance with Comunists regime of Incas against us.

Orgetorix had to resigne. The democratic election were held. New government lead by President Black signed peace with Scandinavia.
No matter Incas and Dutchs refuse to contact our new government, so they took steps to bring ones to a sense. We captured Victos and Utreht and signed peace with Dutchs. After destroying another of theres cities signed one with communist regime in Cuzco.

Slowly it become time of stability in whole country! That smile faces of this new totaly internationaly inhabitated Eboracum town in South Celtia is proof of tolerancy and happiness!

1900. edge of new age.

New Celtic society was rearanged as a Federation.

I probably wouldn't do so well if I had to learn another language.well... if you could see my writen reports from job :rolleyes: but my boss also forgive me, for now :D it's sad, I should knew Englisah much better by now :sad: ...I could also inspect and rewrite corretlly all error parts, but I'm too lazy to do that now, I hope it's understandable enough.

I was glad I could help. Don't worry if some people don't like your story. Everybody likes different things. I like the ones with lots of pictures, for example, but not really the long, pictureless ones.

Good job Celts are my favourite Civ in C3C, I like their trait combo.
Me too. I'm kind of spoilled, I can not play if civ is not Religious! (cheap temples and most important: not long anarchy during changing the type of governments). Agry is great advantage for fast expand in the begining of the game. This game was actually easier than I thought it will be :crazyeye: partly luck and partly becouse I'm already Monarch level player but I still enjoying in relax type of games :cool:

Dziekuje brate Slawek :) I have neighbour and friend here with exactly same first name as yours (originaly, he is from Polska, of course).

I love playing Civ III and slowly planning my neighbours' doom ^_^. That's probably my favourite part. Conquests are fun but I love that moment just maybe a little before you get knights and you're choosing which bordering nation is the weakest to invade with knights... that's an experience unlike any other... and is why CivIII is probably my favourite ever game.

This is a "reserve" title since I I wanted to call it "Tuatha Da Danaan" which should mean All Our Gods on Celtic (but since I'm not sure about translation I just left it as a Subtitle)

It means the people of the goddess Danann. A Tuath being a clan, but the word also includes the land of the people. I guess it's a bit like the word kingdom.

And on a side note, "faoin tuath" is the Irish for "in the country", as in, the countryside.

Me too. Although I gave a try to all Civs (Monarch, Tiny maps, Pangea or Archipelago) I had the best results with Agricultural and Religious ones. The top result was with Celts, domination victory in (IIRC) 320 AD, I flooded my opponents with hordes of Gallic Swordsmen :)

Now I play with Rise and Rule and in this mod everything looks different - the best trait for me is Scientific (it is quite easy to get tech lead at Monarch, there are a lot of techs -> a lot of SGL's -> a lot of rushed wonders), the second- I don't know yet (but Commercial sounds promising).

I like the story but i was wondering where did you get that STUPID flag you gave to the nobel Dutch people, and the Dutch are a people there(my) land isn't called Dutchia nor Deutshland (with means Germany in German and Dutch), but there(my) land is called 'The Netherlands' or Nederland(in Dutch), so please never write a story again with Dutchia and Deutchland.

P.S. If you are going to ask, I have no idea why the inhabitats of The Netherlands are called Dutch.

:D It's all the game...I was just playing...There is no Celtia eather (It was just trick Celts - Serbs - Serbia - Celtia;) ), nor Communist Incan Empire of Sun

I, offcourse, know the thing about Dutch and Deutchland (My Brother in Low is German ...he occasionally mentioned people from The Netherlands with the sentence : Oh my God, those Dutch are everywere:lol: )

Here I have friend who's Dutch by orign, Johan...(like Johan Kroyf not like John Wayne:D )

As for the flag I had to checked, it was long time ago:crazyeye: ...I think I just copied The Netherlands Antilles flag:)
