I gain Kidds treasure map, and i find the island with "shark shallows" go ashore and nothing but grass and trees..none of the landmarks shown on the map are present? I have not seen another Shark shallows on the map? What gives?

No maps are the same in two games, so you won't be telling anyone where his treasure is.

Sometimes a map will generate two (or more) landmarks with the same name. You are probably looking at the wrong one.

It has happened to me. That's how I know it can happen.

And a map with no water, therefore no seaside landmark.

i love the maps with no water, costed me all nerves and a lot of time. Might happen to you with Montalban or a Lost City. Pray they are near Granada and not SE of Campeche!!!

Or North of Vera Cruz!
