Well, since the main thread is pretty darn cluttered, I'm posting this here.

I don't know how many people use Steph's American Conquests Unit Conversions, but I'm sure that thos of you who do probably have noticed some... Annoyances with the units. Since I'm using (or have plans to use) some of these units in the Final Fantasy mod, I'm posting fixes to bugs in the units as I go along.

First up is the 18th Century Russian Officer from Fight Back.

Bugs fixed: there were patches of Civ-coloring in places where it shouldn't be, so I edited all the animations to fix that problem. In addition, somehow the death animation was merged with the Russian Fusiler's death animation (which, if I may say looked pretty darn wierd), so I deleted all the erroneous frames. Finally, I linked sounds to the Explorer, and Made Civilopedia icons and a Civ-Color correct Units_32 icon.

Next is the 17th Century Swedish Musketeer.

Bugs fixed: In every single animation, there were pixels of semi-transparent colors on parts of the body where they shouldn't have been. Also, I made it so that it now is civ-color compliant (the shirt sleeves and pants change colors). In the attack animation, for some reason, in the NW, SW, NE and SE directions, the gun looks like the barel's bending around some object, or is not connected to the rest of the gun, which I proceeded to fix. I linked sounds to the Musketeer and Musketman, and created Civilopedia Icons and a Units_32 icon.

18th Century German Fusillier from American Conquest

Bugs Fixed: Retimed some of the animations to fix annoying trouble with the sounds that were linked (i.e. the animation being much longer than the sound, so the sound would start to overlap-loop causing really loud clicking sounds). Made PediaIcons & Units_32 icon. Also re-exported the Attack A animation, and added gunsmoke to the attack (my first "major" cut and paste operation :D).

Fixed Prussian Fusillier (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads8/AC_Fusillier_German_Fixed.zip)

18th Century Prussian Grenadier from Cossacks

Bugs Fixed: Re-timed animations to better match the sounds that went with them and added smoke to the gun attack. Also created Pedia and Units_32 Icons.

18th Century Spanish Cavalry

Bugs Fixed: Re-timed animations to better match the sounds linked and added smoke to the gun attack animation and created Pedia and Units_32 Icons.

I will be using alot of Steph's conversions, but I haven't gotten around to adding units from those ages yet. These fixits will come in handy though, eventually. Thanks!

Nice job. Hope you will be the bug hunter and corrector for some more.
Especially for American conquest as these are real nice but usually unusable because of transparency or other issues.

Well, I'll keep posting 'em as I fix 'em. However, I't going to be slow, especially with all the other projects I got on the go. The main reason I got these done is because I'm using them in the Final Fantasy mod as UU's for two of the civs, and I have plans in the works to maybe add others.

Also, If anyone else had done fixes on any of these units (and made pediaicons & units_32 icons), just upload them and PM me the links, and what you did to fix them, and I'll add the info and credits to the first post. I'll also update the pediaicons preview as I go.

Okay, quick update: I've finished tweaking the 18th Century German/Prussian Fusillier from American Conquests. Next on my list is either the Prussian Grenadier or Austrian Fusillier, or something like that.
