I think I remember hearing the 8th passenger thingy in Finland as well when the movie came out. It's been Alien ever since, though...

I always thought of it as a tagline, like "in space no one can hear you scream".

I had watched all the Alien movies and Alien VS Predator last night. I can make this unit come out of some aztec wonder or something hehe :)

Looks good. Nice "monster" unit.
I would suggest that "If" you feel like changing anything it be its attack.
Right now it sort of looks like it is spanking a naughty child... Perhaps have the arm swing further so it looks more agressive in the swipe.
Another option would be to have it swing 1 arm then the other so it looks more balanced. This is obviously harder then just getting the arm to go further.

What a great idea. All we need now are Predators, for a Alien vs Predator mod. Some marines would be nice to.

I'm thinking of adding it to my personal preferences mod. Spaceflight I guess, hidden nationality, enslave, all terrain as roads, costs plenty (+pop) to build. I don't think there's anyway it can be given a % chance to defect to barbarians every turn? :D Anyway, should be lots of fun, except for the poor astronauts who first discover these things.

We probably need a Predator :scan: unit to create a good alien scenario... humans, space ships and cyborgs could be useful in this kind of scenario too.

An 'Aliens' scenario would be fantastic. :)

I added aliens to my game (modern start, accel production, so I'd get to them fast). They're a lot of fun now that I've got some. But I think making them the advanced barbarian unit was a mistake. :eek:
