HI,

I haven't played Civ3 for a while, and am looking to get Conquest. I'm a mediocre player (usually play to the near end, and get bored since turns take way too long), and and looking to join/start an SG for either Civ3, PTW, or C3C (as vanilla as possible) to improve the basics.

I'm particularly interested in the opening, as I don't think I prioritize properly. I'm thinking of either domination or conquest (as my war mongering skills are also kinda weak, especially early on), and perhaps even no research to improve my diplomacy learn to control science rate of the world better.

If there's anyone else interested (hopefully 2 trainers and 4 trainees or so), ping this thread, and let's get a game going!

If you're for Vanilla, I'm in. I always go to space, i'd need some warmonger experience.

I'm looking for an SG to hopefully improve my micromanagement skills. My micro pretty much goes out the door after the initial expansion. Plus I'm a habitual builder who never uses archers against anything but barbarians. What level are you planning to play on? I'd be interested if you're playing Deity.

Kinda same here. Only not Diety, but Emperor.

I'd be willing to play on emperor, though I'd like to see a difficult start if we do. After all, having several brains working on the game should be quite an advantage and it's entirely possible to beat Emperor without mastering the basics provided you have reasonable luck and good macro strategy. Perhaps an Emperor "barbarian" (no research, no wonders, no Republic/Demo) game to keep things focused on war.

Sounds great. Enigma, are you there?

Hmmm, since Enigma's last post in this thread is about a month ago, I'd consider this game stillborn unless he posts within a few days.
