I;m in conquests 1.22 juballs2001 Jan 25, 2005, 06:00 PM whoops my bad, its z MSTK Feb 05, 2005, 10:08 PM yeah, press Z. spacedragonblue Feb 07, 2005, 04:13 PM No, I mean VERY far out, like to see the entire world map. P.S. How do you yurn the map into a geographic one (withour borders, cities, units, etc.. SORRY Coinich Feb 07, 2005, 05:07 PM Control-M or Control N turns the map in to topographical view. Very handy to know. Hooray Feb 07, 2005, 06:21 PM Actually, it's Ctrl+Shift+M that reveals the terrain without cities or roads or anything. No such far away zoom is possible as far as I know. The only instance I can think of would be the time Daftpanzer put a full map of the entire world in his Celtic Peacekeepers thread. That time I'm sure he just created a composite from several different screenshots. I've done the same thing before to get a full view of my empire when it's too large to fit in one screen. Greebley Feb 08, 2005, 09:51 PM There is a line you can put in your ini file that will keep it the same resolution as your desktop. This allows you to get 1600x1200 pictures of your world. There may also be a utility that gives bigger maps. Sadly I don't remember the ini change, but someone should know. I would ask in the quick questions in general discussion to see if you get a response (or post there). Stories and tales may not be the best spot as fewer ppl see it. Ctrl-Shift-N in conquests allows you to pick what you want to turn on and off (cities, mines, hills, rivers, etc). Ctrl-Shift-M turns it on and off to the last setting. Z zooms out. microbe Feb 09, 2005, 06:58 PM Any graph software could do it, such as MS Paint. |
