Wrong forum. This is for SG. For singler player games go back one level to "Stories and Tales".

Thanks. I did not realize that I could post ot the upper level. But since I'm here already, why don't just carry on here. If someone is interested, we may turn this game into a succession game.

The file will be available later tonight. If someone like to join, we need to
set up some rules. I never played SG before. So if you are a veteran,
please suggest some rules.

I have basically two rules myself:
1) I'll be the peace maker. that's means I'll try to stop a war if it has
started. I also disencourage my pal players to start an un-nessary
war.
2) Current rearch is 0/10/0. We want to keep this as long as possible, plus
don't research for the tech already known to the world. It is for the aim to
spawn as many SGL as possible. We are leading the world by 6 techs at
least. And all the current available techs are unknown to the world.
The current income are from selling techs to other civs.

[edit] One more rule, is when you get a SGL, take a screen shot. And
before using the SGL, please consult with other pal players.

Suggested number of players: 3-5
If there is one more jump in and agreeing on the rules, we are ready to go.
:)

Sorry Microbe. I hope you don't mind me borrowing your rules. :0
I think those are good guild lines. :)

********************

Golden rule: Reputation is gold. Never purposely break any per-turn deal, peace treaty, military alliance or MPP before it expires. If you break our rep by mistake, I reserve the right to ask for a replay.

Note 1: it is OK to break an ongoing deal in which only AI is paying per-turn good to us.
Note 2: we can break RoP (by declaring war) as long as we do not take advantage of it (see below banned tactic 1), given that we do not break other per-turn deals or treaties.
Note 3: it is not our fault if our only trade route to AI is cut by someone else, but the game will still think our reputation is trashed. Try to avoid this situation as much as possible. Unsafe trade is highly discouraged.

The following tactics are forbidden:
1. RoP rape. We cannot declare war on AI if we have any units (including boats) inside AI territory. Note, this rule holds no matter we have RoP with AI or not.
2. RoP abuse. If you have RoP with AI, you cannot abuse it by intentionally messing up AI territory with worker actions, standing on AI resources to deny its access, etc. It is OK to build a road to an AI resource so we can trade for it. Be reasonable.
3. Negative science exploit. No matter how huge a deficit you run, the game will only disband a building and/or a worker if the gold goes negative in the interturn.
4. Ship chaining exploit. No loading/unloading in a chain of ships to gain virtually unlimited movement.
5. Free palace jump. Adandon capital so it could jump to the next biggest city.
6. Scientific Double Slingshot. With a scientific civ, when you research the last tech in an era, you could use "Big Picture" to go to the diplomatic screen and buy the techs that other AIs already have to get a free tech that is not known by others. This is forbidden.

The best city I build was in middle of a marsh. I spent 8 turns to clean it. Now it included a rubber and a oil in its city radius, plus two games, which we know alrady.

The wonder building city is 60(7) shield per turn.

The two war we had was 1) with German, our neighor in the early stage. After kicking out his archers, we get to peace.
2) with Dutch, when they have stacks of 1/4/1 and 4/2/1 units. I rush built two musketman plus city wall to survive their attacks.

But I do get two SGL after Industry age..That's only 12 techs so far.

If no one else interested, I may carry on the pursuit myself. :)

Run it for couple of turns more. Now it's 1285.
summary:
English are in bad shape. Our privateer on their east coast begin to sneak attack Egyptian for helping English.

Finished Communism, but Babylon, Netherland already got it.
Set research to Steel.

The British Dye city was razed by Egyptian. We lost our supply of dye.

Mission 1: send settler to found near the Dye slot. All the navy along the way from mainland to England will need to co-operate for this operation.

English and Egyptian are in Anarchy. Bribe the English city next to our Oil_Rubber city. I tried three times and finally get it converted. Now we have rubber supply. putting one more worker to hook it up.
