Sorry if this has already been discussed. Has anyone made pallettes/mods to change unit skintones? Can this even be done? I replaced a few of the skin colors in the ntpXX.pcx files and it just made a few lighter dots on the units. I'll wirte more when someone responds.

It can be done and it has been done. For example embryodead converted a bunch of the early units to africans and orcs.

Someone has a tutorial on changing palettes with Pedit I think. Could be Embryo. Search for the htread in tuts section.
