Ok, I've read the threads I could find on this topic but I still have some questions. :D
First of all, are we limited to only using filenames that are already in use? (By "already in use", I mean the default ones that are already in there). Is it not possible to change the list in a music.txt file to include whatever file name your wanting to add? I'd really like to add music, not merely replace the default music. I'd like to have a mixture of the two.
For example, let's say you added the file welcome2thejungle.mp3 in one of the music folders. Could you not add that file name to the playlist in the corresponding music.txt file?
Also, regarding the music.txt files, all I really want to mod is the music in the modern era for a normal user-created game (i.e. not a scenario). After all, that is where I end up spending most of the game. Where is the music.txt if all I want to mod is that era? I see music.txt's for all the scenarios but I am not seeing it for just the normal era's.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer any tips.
Regards,
Chad
