A 64,000 pound ancient artifact, a giant ring with 39 symbols, is discovered by Professor Langford while he is excavating the Giza Plateau.
Professor Langford manages to activate the artifact accidently and discovers it is a teleportation device. The project is shelved after one of the researchers, Dr Littlefield, is killed by the device.
Professor Langford's daughter manages to convince the USAF to revive research into the artifact and they discover how to powerup and activate the device, the Stargate. They however lack the coordinates to 'dial' the device.
A civilian specialist, Dr Daniel Jackson is brought into the project and he discovers the correct sequence of symbols to establish a wormhole to.....
TIME INDEX 1
A PLANET NAMED ABYDOS
A special operations team led by USAF Colonel Jack O'Niel emerges through a stargate on an alien planet and begins exploring ruins which are uncannily Egyptian looking. Daniel Jackson discovers a strange animal and they follow it to a nearby city called Abydos. They bring along a nuclear device in case of an emergency.

Some Alien warriors named Jaffa appear out of the gate at Abydos and I had to send some SG teams from Earth to take them out. SG-1 continues with is mission to enter the city.
RA THE SUN GOD
As the team mingles with the Abydonians, they realize that they are human and were brought here millenia ago as slaves when their bretheren on Earth revolted and expelled their alien overlords. There is no time to rejoice for the alien known to Egyptologists as the Sun God Ra returns to Abydos to resupply his mothership with Naquada, the mineral which his slaves have been mining. He must be stopped.
Beefed up the squads guarding the gateroom in expectation of attacks by transferring some units over from the Pentagon.

TIME INDEX 3
With the help of a death glider, the Jaffa retake Abydos City and kill the SG team stationed there. SG-1 manages to shoot down the Death Glider after a long battle. There are Jaffa materializing all over the planet.

SG-1 liberates the Abydonians a second time but Jaffa are still in control of parts of the planet. The City is in ruin and only half of its original size.

All the enemy units are finally eliminated and a MALP is sent to explore the moons of Abydos.

The MALP finally discovers RA's mothership and SG-1 is assigned to blow it up using a nuke.

RA THE FORMER SUN GOD
Ra's evil plan to send the human's nuclear device enhanced with Naquada back to Earth through the stargate to cause a holocaust goes awry and he is blown up with his mothership as the Abydonians revolt. The team returns to Earth but Daniel Jackson decides to remain behind and take an Abydonian wife.

THE ABYDOS CARTOUCHE
A search party is sent to Abydos to retrieve Daniel Jackson after aliens suddenly appeared out of the StarGate on Earth (a MALP was sent after them before the wormhole closed). Upon arriving, Daniel tells them he has discovered a cartouche which is a repository of many Stargate coordinates. However, only a few of the gate coordinates turn out to be valid.
Nevertheless, one of them leads to a populated world where a MALP is destoyed shortly after it emerges past the event horizon on the other side. It is a planet called Chulak. The SGC decides to investigate the planet further in an attempt to stop the endless attacks on the gateroom back on earth.

TIME INDEX 25
SG1 finds a group of human like colonists on a nearby Class M planet and after some deliberation th SGC decides to forego the chance of starting a new colony on the planet. Instead, they are brought back to Earth to help improve the infrastructure of the planet.

Renewed attacks on the gateroom almost overwhelm the guards there as SG-1 is on an away mission. Garrisons from Abydos are also recalled.

StarGate Command finally figures out why the majority of address from the Abydos Cartouche did not work, three millenia of interstellar drift. The Dailing program is modified to account for this and this effectively opens up access to dozens of new worlds to explore. More SG teams are planned to search for new allies and technology to fight the Goa'uld.

SG1 discovers another populated planet, designated P5S-117.
Another SG team comes across some Jaffa who do not serve the Goauld and they are recruited.

Some goauld space craft are spotted and the Pentagon decides to arm itself with nukes just in case.
Ernest Littlefield is discovered after being trapped on an alien planet for 50 years. He introduces to his rescuers the Heliopolis, an abandoned meeting place for the original four races of the Galaxy, the Ancients, Furlings, Nox and Asgard. Writing from all four languages are found throughout the complex. Daniel Jackson recognizes Asgard writing as ancient Norse and uses it as a baseline to translate the remaining three languages.

A probe discovers the planet Salish.
Daniel Jackson is officially recruited into the USAF (wonder) and research output immediately doubles.

On Chulak, SG-1 is attacked by a Serebus space craft and some Jaffa but manages to survive. They come across their second Egyptian 'God', Apophis. They barely escape with the help of Tiel'c, a Jaffa warrior and First Prime to Apophis. He defects and returns with the human expedition to Earth. During the escape the commander of SG-2, Major Kowalsky, gets infected with a symbiote and eventually dies. Through his experience they learn that the enemy aliens are actually eel like creatures which take over the bodies of human hosts. These hosts are then regularly rejuvinated in a device called the sarcophagus so the aliens, known as the Goa'uld, may live indefinitely.

We discover deposits of Naquada, a metal (which the gate is made of) which can be used to store and generatehuge amounts of energy. We can now build R&D labs? and Infirmaries? How come we never thought of building those things before?

THE SPIRITS OF THE WILD
On the planet Salish, SG1 comes across native americans who use arrow heads made of a material 100 stronger and lighter than steel, a metal called trinium. When an attempt is made to mine the trinium, the native's spirit gardians reveal themselves to prevent exploitation of the planet. It turns out that the spirits are actually powerful shape-shifter aliens who liberated the indians from the Goa'uld a long time ago. You have no choice but to leave and look for trinium deposits elsewhere.

SG1 encounters other humans from Earth who have been using a second Stargate in the Arctic to gate to other planets and acquire technology using unsavoury means. In the process, the SGC discovers the existance of the N.I.D. (a new branch of the US government devoted to the protection of Earth from the Alien threat) as these mercenaries were part of a rouge-N.I.D. operation. Their off-world base is shut down and their leader Colonel Maybourne is aprehended.

Samantha Carter is assigned to SG-1 to replace Col Kawolski who had died earlier on.

Two further planets are discovered. Orban and Cimmeria. First contact with them are given top priority and as soon as SG-1 recovers from injures sustained during the NIDoperation, they will make the trip.

A Teltak is recovered from a desert planet and the humans can now visit planets without stargates..

All SG teams are upgraded with trinnium tipped munitions and P-90 Machine pistols. These will allow us to fight the Jaffa on an even basis and we can now travel freely on non-Goauld controlled worlds.
SG1 discovers that Cimmeria is a world inhabited by Viking-like natives. After managing to kill a Unas guarding its communication portal to the Asgard home world, the truth regarding the Asgard is finally revealed. The Asgard once used to protect Earth from the Goa'uld in the distant past while posing as Norse Gods such as Thor but were forced to withdrawl because of the greater Replicator threat in their home galaxy. He tells Jack "What the Ancients left for you can be found in the gas clounds"
TIME INDEX 58
The Teltak is used to move a MALP to a second wormhole network we can’t dial from our network. It covers vast differences and discovers several new planets with two objective targets, Reese and Narim. Unfortunately, it has no attack factor and cannot make contact.

An alien Serebus bombards Earth from orbit and knowledge of the existence of Aliens begins to leak out.

THE CHILDREN OF ORBAN
SG1 encounters a race where the children are used as researchers with the help of nanites. When the children come of age, the nanites are harvested and the nanites with their knowledge injected into the adults. One such child, Merrin, teaches SG1 the basics of building a naquada based reactor before she is harvested.

The MALP stranded in the other gate network has stumbled upon the planet Halla which is supposed to be the Asgard Homeworld. But the world seems to be teeming with small mechanical creatures and not Asgardians. Contact is lost soon after. The search for what the ancients left us in the dust clouds continues.

SG-1 visits the planet Vorash briefly. It is controlled by a race other than the hostile ones we have come across.

The president has granted a mandate to openly resist all alien aggression. The Space Shuttle II, based on captured technology is commissioned and we can start manned-travel beyond the moon.
SG1 travels to the planet Nassya. There is an AI symbiote unit there which we cannot seem to make contact with for the moment.

An Alien space craft attacks the Pentagon and had to be nuked.

A manned team is finally able to get onto the second gate network using the teltak transport. On a planet that is tearing itself apart with volcanic activity, the team comes across the rear-party of a planetary evacuation including a gentleman named Narim. They are technologically advanced and fortunately, the team rescues them and is able to convince Narim into parting with his knowledge of particle beam weapons.

The first human colony, Alpha Site is finally set up on a desert planet near earth.
THE PROTECTION OF PLANETS TREATY
An SG team encounters an abandoned planet and activates an android child to find out how the world was ravaged. Apparently she had the ability to create self-replicating insectoid creatures which in turn wiped out the population of the planet. Then they took off. She is deactivated and sent off to the Asgard who recently lost their homeworld to these creatures. The Asgard so so greatful for Reese and her secrets that they arrange to include Earth in their Protection of Planets Treaty with the Goa'uld. An Asgard Beliskner Cruiser is assigned to protect Earth.

Death Gliders and Asrak Infiltrators attack NID base and overwhelm its garrison. Earth suffers its first bitter defeat.
A second attack hits the Alpha site and control of the gate is lost to Jaffa and Unas. A massive rescue operation from Earth and Abydos is mounted to safeguard the planet.

The Immunitech Incident (Golden Age)
The N.I.D. discover a covert operation to clone Goa'uld symbiotes in Stevenson, Oregon. Somehow the symbiotes manage to take control of the town's folk and begin building a space craft. The capture of the space craft helps advance the level of human aeronautical engineering by several generations – used this to get a free tech Colonization Mandate.

THE ANCIENT REPOSITORY OF KNOWLEDGE
SG1 comes across a device which downloads the entire knowledge base of the Ancients into O'Niels head. From this knowledge, he is able to enter an entire new set of coordinates into the SGC's dialing computer. Two worlds, Pangar and Kelnowa are of approximately the same technological level as Earth and are put on a priority list for exploration.

Teilk reveals that the Replicators have swallowed up Memphis and the System Lords HQ is now moved to Chulak. Seems like this is a Relicator-strong game.

JOLINAR OF MULKSHIR
While SG1 is exploring Nassya, they encounter a new branch of Goa'uld, the Tok'ra, those who are against Ra. They only take willing human hosts and coexist with their hosts instead of supressing them. The Humans propose an alliance but the Tok'ra are only willing to do so if the Humans can provide a new host for their leader Selmak as a show of faith. Jacob Carter who is dying of a cancer which the symbiote can cure volunteers.

THOR'S PLAN PART I
The war against the replicators is not going well for the Asgard and soon the Asgard will be wiped out. But Thor has devised a plan to trap them with a time dialation device left on a planet they abandoned to the replicators. Unfortunately only our ships can make it to the planet to activate the device as the replicators are not attracted to our backward technology.
We of course do not have the technology to build ships that can make it to the Asgard Galaxy yet.
As Goa'uld death gliders circle above in search of the underground To'kra base, Selmac merges with Jacob and cures his cancer. They begin to act as an intermediary between the two races. As a start, the Tok'ra will provide Tel'tak cargo ships to the SGC occasionally. They also ask that the humans join the search for their long lost founder, Egiria.
Jacob further reveals that Apophis is planning to pacify this entire region of space including Earth. At time index 110, the Vorash system will be used as a staging point for the invasion fleet. To stop Apophis, a plan is drawn up to destroy the fleet by triggering a super nova using a nuclear device at time index 111. They are able to supply only ONE Tok'ra operative for the mission.
Unfortunately it is already time index 122 which means that there will be many goauld ships in the area. To make things worse, we already used our one and only nuke to protect the Pentagon earlier.
TIME INDEX 122
Rush built a nuke at the SGC and will be using our Tokra operative to deliver it to the target sun. Unfortunately that used up almost all our spare resources and research will have to slow down now.

It is hard work moving the nuke to Vorash. For each stop, SG teams have to gate in and hold gates before the Tokra operative can warp jump in. Meanwhile the Beliskner has scouted out the target system and discovered Alkesh Bombers and Hatak Motherships patrolling.

A Serebus raider caught the Tokra operative and nuke on the ground and the nuke is stranded on a dead planet waiting to destroyed.

I did try to slog on using SG-1 to carry the nuke and then using my precious Beliskner to carry SG-1. You know like how Frodo carries the ring in the original LODR scenario. Painfully slow, one step at a time without the tokra operative's ability to parajump and carry missiles.
I finally managed to make the sun go Nova, about 50 turns too late but by then the Replicators were running rampant and the System Lords were too powerful with 50 turns of free ships for the rival Linvris Lords to keep them in check. There was no way to get to the last few objective cities.
No conquer Pangar = no finding Queen Egira = No happy Tokras = No Alliance = No free Tokra and Jaffa units =
No conquer Kelnowyn = no naquadria = no warp drive = No space ships
When Anubis' Mothership killed mu Beliskner, Earth became totally defensless against the alien hordes except for a few upgraded space shuttles.
:lol: this reminds me of the episode where master braytac asks Jack with a straight face "These Space Shuttles of yours, there are formidable fighting craft are they not?" :lol:
So Earth resigned to its fate of either being Goauld slaves or replicator nutirents. :(
