Ok so i havent really played o Emporer much yet. Ive won one game as th English o Islands as thats my best settings. I decided to do a continents game as the Spanish. The spanish because I havent played them before ad i think that the conquistidor is actually quite powerfull, for reasons Ill explain if you ask.
Ok here goes.
Settings.
Continents
70%water.
Warm, normal.
Sedentary barbs.
Spain.
8 random enemys.
Emperor.
Default Rules
Ill stick with what im give and play 100 turns and then you can give advice. abuse etc
4000bc. Settle Madrid. Start reasearching BW at 100%.
3500bc. Start building a temple in Madrid. Have 2 warriors. 1 in Madrid. 1 exploring.
3100bc finish temple in Madrid and start on settler. I build temple first so as not to waste turns as madrid gets to size 3.
2630bc. Seville founded Had bronze working a few turns ago. Didn’t record when. Researching mysticism at 90% science.
2470bc. Made contact with the Dutch. They have pottery and the same number of cities. I only have 10gold.
2350bc. My scouting warrior was destroyed by barbs.
1950bc. founded Toledo. For some reason the Barcelona city name hasn’t come up.
1870 trade mysticism for warrior code and 10 gold. Start reaserching pottery for 8 turns.
1725bc. Make contact with Russia. Trade Alphabet and Mysticism for Masonry and pottery and 10gold. Traded masonry for Wheel with dutch. Good. start writing
1675 found santiago near spices.
1400bc. Founded Salamanca and made contact with germany. They have ironworking and horsebackridig.
1325 founded Murcia
1200 made contact with England. They only have 1 city. The germans must have battered them
1125 Writing. Everyone already has it plus others except for the English who have nothing to trade. Research Philosphy
1075 fouded Valencia near some Horses.
975. Get iron working for writing from english
750bc. Get philosiphy ad the literature. Get a SGL from literature. Rush Great Library. Dutch threatened me and I gave in as I have a few unguarded cities, settolers ad workers.
730bc. Great library!. Push science to zero and luxuries to 10%. And will ajust to suit my needs.
