Hmm, who can I nominate that would result in a fiery debate with Provolution? :mischief:

Nah, let's save the fireworks for later.

I nominate Cyc

Unfortunately, Cyc can't answer right now. :(

If I knew for sure which office Cyc wanted, I would respectfully demand that an acceptance be submitted.

Um is it possible to contact cyc via e-mail or PM, I know that when Provo was banned PM still worked so if someone got an acceptance message from him maybe that would work?

as i posted in teh CJ nominations thread, technically he would have to self nominate via PM... if he wants to accept a nomination he has to post, but all self nominations are accepted unless otherwise stated

You shouldn't speak for a person who's banned. It goes against the forum rules.

If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private. If it's not resolved or if you don't receive a reply from the moderator after 24 hours, you can then PM or email Thunderfall.

I'll speak for myself then. Well played! Check and mate! :goodjob:

:borg: Everyone, the love-in for Cyc must cease immediately. Our near unanimous respect is not welcome here, and our Constitution isn't worth a hill of beans against the Forum Rules. Once everyone learns this valuable lesson, the healing can begin. :borg:

DZ runs off to tell Teresa Heinz Kerry that she had better not sign up here after all.........

If there are no accepted nominations, then the President can appoint someone to this office. :mischief:

Self nominations are accepted by default. So it is accepted.

Um, that was a hint that we don't need to break forum rules to thwart a certain person's intent with respect to another certain person, if other persons were so inclined...

This was getting a bit cryptical for me, please elaborate, or send a PM where you state what you really thought.

Cyc will not be accepting any nominations this term, because he is not here to accept them.

I am sorry to see this thread being ruined by a conflict outside my scope of responsibility,
and I am saddened to see that someone wants to make "fireworks" out of me in the debate over something as cute, toothless and harmless as culture. All I want to do is to discuss flowers, temples, libraries, wonders, enlightenment and the dove-like values that will make our nation a proud and civilized place.

I would more than welcome my dear friend Cyc back when he comes by, one of the few that has backed me in the past in harder times, and I also understand in considerate ways the high running emotions of our fine citizens and influencing parties making this clockwork tick around in the most curious ways.

I also hope for a good debate, and no further threadjacks distracting from the main important topic here, the long term planning of culture. As a note, any breach of forum
rules will not be commented, merely reported.
