Hi!
Here is a nurgle demon lord - the great unclean one (from warhammer). Enjoy :)

Here is a civilopedia entry (from the games workshop website).
Wreathed in swarms of giggling Nurglings, the Great Unclean One shambles across the battlefield spreading disease and pestilence wherever it passes.

To the mortal eye, the Great Unclean One is the foulest of servants of the Ruinous Powers, appearing as a malformed being of weeping pustules and exposed, diseased organs; few men have the stomach, let alone the ability to oppose such a being.

Here are the files:
Great Unclean one (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads9/Unclean.zip)

Attached are previews of some animations and civilopedia

Not to be a whiner or anything. But The great unclean one can't really walk. It has hundreds of miniature unclean ones, (called nurglings) under it's bloated body that carries it. Otherwise great. It would also be good if it could leave a trail of slime and nurglings behind it. It is it's major form of attack, the slime spreads disease to anybody who comes into contact with it. I know there is no animated films showing this. But that's what I've read.

But just making the belly bigger so it covers the legs would do the trick.

But I really do apreciate your work, this has been my most anticipated unit of all. I've even got a half finnished nurgle project of my own, but I guess that's history now, and I'm not crying. Good work.

That's not whining, that's critique :p (I guess you didn't see it in the preview thread). Well, I did it the way I did for various reasons:
- I have no knowledge whatsoever about this demon (I barely knew what it looked like - a big green slimy blob).
- thus I didn't know how is it supposed to move, and that's why it simply walks with it's stubby legs.
- I thought about a trail of slime behind when it moves, but I somehow decided to leave it out, mainly because he walks (instead of "crawls" or anything that sort.
- you can consider that huge sword covered in diseaseous slime (touch THIS, you healthy thinling!!!) :p
-I already added him a belly, and I don't want to add another belly (it's not a ruminant (like a cow), you know :p ).

But I really do apreciate your work, this has been my most anticipated unit of all. I've even got a half finnished nurgle project of my own, but I guess that's history now, and I'm not crying. Good work.
I didn't know this was anticipated unit. And go on, finish your project too (if I had known someone else was already making it, I propably wouldn't have done this - sorry :mischief: ).

Amazingly cool unit.
Like everyone else that sees the death animation: COOL!
I like the walking "swamp thing" look better then the being carried along by lessor beings. The only thing I would change is to remove the skull from the death sequence. I think his melting says all that needs to be said.

I didn't know there was a preview thread. Where can it be found, (I had a look but didn't find it.)
Don't apologize. I couldn't have done it better even if I had a year to do it. I'm happy that you did it.

@Dr. Zoidberg
For the preview thread, go to the Creation and Customization forum, and look for the thread entitled "Warhammer fantasy units/graphics preview/development thread" If you go to the last page of that, you'll find previews of aaglo's lasted work, and the constructive critiques that nitpicking gnats like myself give aaglo.

Like everyone else that sees the thing: AHh!
Great Unit and even to a viking like myself its more horrifying then a Anglo Saxon after being killed by a Beserker and it doesnt even have splurted out guts and a A huge axe slash to the head

and like some guy before me I would prefer it to have no legs and move like a slug

Great looking, especially the death anim.

Thematically, though, shouldn't it look more like a plagued Jabba the hut?
