View Full Version : Earliest Scientific Leader on Regent? (3200BC)
thescaryworker Feb 24, 2005, 08:20 PM I was testing out my additions to diplomacy. After a few tech trades (before 3000BC), a scientific leader popped up when I discovered The Wheel. Had anyone gotten a scientific leader before 3200 B.C.?
Note: I was about to rush The Pyramids on that game (leader), and I do not usually build wonders.
PNote: I did not use any mod except for editing diplomacy.
bed_head7 Feb 25, 2005, 01:54 AM Yes, only because of sheer number of attempts, though. A couple tips, even though they were not requested. Irrigate that wheat as soon as possible. You don't need to bother with roading the furs immediately - use the lux slider to keep people happy. Growth is the most important at the beginning.
QuoVadisNation Feb 28, 2005, 08:48 AM That is rather pretty lucky; so does that mean Albert Einstein was the inventor of the wheel? Smart man.
henry k c Feb 28, 2005, 07:40 PM If you are a sci. civ( starts with BW), go for Iron wrking and you could get a SL

Pentium Mar 16, 2005, 08:50 AM Those silly Americans. They think the whole world is theirs.
Cuivienen Mar 16, 2005, 08:51 AM He made his most important discoveries in the US and was naturalized as an American citizen.
ThERat Mar 16, 2005, 07:30 PM He made his most important discoveries in the US and was naturalized as an American citizen.I don't know where you got those facts from, but fact is:
he was born in Ulm (Germany) and worked in Switzerland at the office for patents when he came up with a small little new theory called Theory of Relativity. Now, to my knoweldge, Switzerland has not been US American at that time. Give some credit to us Europeans as well, thanks.
It's a joke they put him as SGL for America.
BigNHuge Apr 01, 2005, 08:45 AM Wow, been quite a long time since my last post, but i finally got my new comp!!!!! Yay!
ok
The earliest Sci G.L. i got was probably around 3500BC, I can remember it pretty well as i was MONGOLIA and popped a hut that had bronze working, and it gave me a sci G.L., I didnt know you could pop a tech and get it, and also, i was shocked to find that there we NO SCIENTIFIC CIVS IN MY GAME. I had all presets to random, and had a medium world. Has anyone elses done this before?
QuoVadisNation Apr 01, 2005, 05:24 PM I can't that has happened, nor have I heard of it before. hehe, but I guess it has the possibility of happening, still very lucky
