I need a GOOD Player that has won Deity.. The propose of this game is to show a player like me how to get better in civ.. I want u as a good player to point out where i am doing wrong and fix it up in your turns... :)

Map stats:
Playing as: You can choose
World size: Standard or higher u choose
World: Pangaea, 70%, 3 billion, Normal
Temperature: Random
Barbarians: Roaming
Rivals: Random
Victories enabled: standard victorys
Ai Agression: Monarch (i Usually play regent)
Opponents: 7 Random oppnents

We will play this game doing 5 turns each. Then we upload the save to this forum :)

Not joining, but 5 turns is really too few. For first turns, you might even consider 20-25 turn cycle, lowering it as time goes.

Not a sign up but a comment:

A huge map on R&R is a big commitment that will have a lot of micromanagement and therefore taking lots of time, you might want to consider playing standard size.

Seriously, you want a bit to much.
Why don't you simply start a regular 5 to 6 players Monarch RaR SG, with one or two experts in the team as trainers? I can imagine there would be some interest in this (you should post this also in the RaR thread in the CC forum).

The way you propose would require such an amount of work for the trainer, it almost requires to pay him ;)...

I was going to comment about the huge issue, but I noticed you reduce the map size. You should make it clearer when this happens.

A bigger problem I notice is you opened a second game thread. This will further dilute the player pool. I would suggest you either close this thread or close Training game monarch (R&R Mode) You can't start *2* training games at the same time.

i did not expekt it to be so hard to get players for this

I would join but i am in so many SGs already, i just won't be able to handle another one.
I reckon many players around here have the same problem.
Sorry about not having luck, but i am sure this game will get going sooner or later. :)

I am in dmanakho's shoes here. I would really like to help you, but I am feasting on too many RaR games. One of the best things you can do to get better is to find LK's first games on RaR, I think it is LK86 or something, and read through it thoroughly.
Another thing that really helps in RaR is to use MapStat, which helps make the process of figuring trading stuff out managable.

Bumping your TWO theads might not be so good idea anymore. If no-one sings up, there clearly isn't interest at particular time.

I state the same thing already, but he didn't hear it. Having 2 training threads at the same time will NEVER produce any results.

i don't understand... he is posting a thread to get help, yet doesn't seem to read to what people tell him, or at least he doesn't feel he should answer ^^

And a training game in RaR? What is that? :crazyeye: There are not as many people play RaR as the base game.

Play the base game well first. The base game has less to manage, better balance and in general shorter timeframe.

When you beg for people to join a training game, you have to be very considerate and not demand too much from others.

I think the main problem is that, as microbe said, most players like the original game better, and not many know RaR that well. Also, RaR is so complicated that it can be very hard to train someone in it.

ok, i will still try to get player for R&R to train me, but i will barry the monarch thread :)
