Actually I have like 5 nations and 1 region, the Noldor State, ruled by an other nation, also mine the Sinadarin Noldor, too much Noldor I would say.

I had one or two way back when it first came out. It gets old after a bit, though, especially when you start just answering the same questions every day. I did manage to get onto some of the top whatever lists, though, after a while. Did they ever end up making the changes the guy was talking about? I left pretty shortly after I did the survey for it, IIRC. Oh, and did the UN ever break from its realistic role and become useful/meaningful? ;)

You wait for a while, then It would automatically be intergrated into your nation. (usually 12ish hours)

Yes you can. Many regions have Roleplay forums, like mine, Portugal when you can conquer other nations, establish relatioships, etc. The Great and Best Roleplay forum is European Affairs, of the Europe Region that is now under reconstruction

I played the "game" for about a week, and realized there was no real point to it, being that there was no real "war" or fighting, furthermore how dull and boring it was because of this... so... I would have to say this is one of the most unrealistic, and pointless things on the web which is not even worthy of the title "game"...

NS2 is a sequel to NationStates, taking the nation sim game we know and love and injecting it with with major new features, such as War, Trade, Alliances, and greater customization.

How much?

NS2 will be free-to-play. However you can also upgrade your account, which will grant access to premium features, or even purchase these features on a one-off basis, via credit card, SMS/text message, and PayPal.

Who?

OMAC Industries is developing and will run NS2. The game was designed by Max Barry, creator of NationStates.

What about NationStates 1?

This doesn't affect the current NationStates site. NS2 will be a new, additional game — not a replacement for NS1.

Can I transfer my nation to NS2?

Prior to launch, all NationStates players will be invited to reserve their nation's name in NS2. This is not a transfer, in that your NS1 nation won't move: you simply have first opportunity to create a new nation in NS2 with the same name. Statistics such as population and industry sizes will not carry over: all nations will start afresh. However, you can import the three main freedom metrics: personal, economic and political, if you choose.

Well it's going to be like AstroEmpires where if you pay you get bonus stuff ie you get unfair advantages over people who don't pay. :(

You support the game via paying to keep it online, you get a bonus.

But still, the only major thing you lose if you stop paying (assuming you built up your empire under upgraded mode) are scanners.

Used to NationStates, but it loses its effect quickly.

NS2 looks promising, but I'd never pay for it. I just play ERepublik instead <--- MUCH better!
