View Full Version : Term 1 : Strategic Plans Repository

This thread will be a repository for strategic plans developed during Term 1, based on the people's input. Each Consul should post their plan for the specified time period, and keep it updated relative to current conditions. The Directors then base their tactical planning on the strategic plans.

This is not a discussion thread, it is for consuls to post their plans. Please direct discussion to the threads for specific decisions, and questions to the respective Consul's office.

Domestic Consul Strategic Plans:
This post will be updated as discussions/polls are finalized.

Settlement Density, pattern, and Site Criteria: Is currently being discussed (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=113150). The final results of the settlement density poll (for the next 30-50 turns) is that we will target a city placement of medium to low density (about 13 workable tiles) and we will settle coastal sites if there is a good reason (such as a cow we want to deny an AI).

Will be developed as a 6 turn combo factory operating normally at sizes 4-5

Exploration: Build units by land and sea to search for other civilizations. Land units also can explore to aid settlement strategy.

Trading: Trade whenever there is a reasonable trade to help to keep us in tech parity.

Demands (this in particular will be dynamically changing): Give in to demands unless the civilization poses no possible threat (ie they cannot reach us)
