Anyone who will read this amazing story about how a 5-city nation took over a 12-city nation and a superpower, then come on in.
So I was Sicily, right? I was on an isolated island to the south pole. It was a desert there. My people were growing tired of having 3 cities on the small island they called home. So in 1200AD, I sent two settlers north to settle new cities in a new land.
One settler got off on an obscure and remote island south of Ethiopia. He made the city Valletta. It grew quickly, into a one-million person city. The other city, on the other hand, landed right next to China. I settled a city and called it Reggio di Calabria. Fine. Right? No. I'm guarding it with battleships and musketman (and I was pretty advanced for the 14th century, too) but Chinese soldiers from Shanghai come down upon my city, burn it to the ground, and settle a new one.
Well, me being dictator of Sicily, knew that this was not good. I was a major naval power of the world, next to the Koreans and Germans. There I sent a humungous fleet of about 20 warships and battleships to liberate Chinese cities. I destroyed 2. China had 12 cities in 1350, but only 10 in 1380.
Then came the growing problem of it's allies, Poland and Korea. I knew Poland was a small and weakened nation. It's golden age was in the 3rd Century BC when it completed the pyramids. Germany, like I said, was a more dangerous threat. It had many galleons in Cologne and Bonn, but nothing as advanced as I.
Poland was my first priority. I destroyed Lodz and Warsaw (it's only two cities) in 1410. Then, came Germany. The Germans had at least 160 galleons, and I only had like 50 battleships. This is where technology came in handy. Both our fleets were headed for Beijing, both for different reasons. They collided off the coast of Ethiopia and the battle was huge. I destroyed over 30 of his ships, and he destroyed 2 or 3 of mine.
From then on, Germany was weak. Their navy was all that supported them, but since I invaded all their coastal cities, island-cities, and island-colonies, they had nothing left but to either surrender or get invaded the hard way. They decided to surrender. I didn't accept. I knew they would grow back into a large nation. I invaded Berlin, Essen, Frankfurt, and Hamburg, leaving Germany with only Munich. By 1455, Germany was no longer existing.
Now, for China. My allies, the Greeks, had already started fighting in the north of China. The Mongols, my other (very weak) allies, were getting pummeled by the Chinese. However, I could care less about my "allies" the Mongols.
Then, came the turning point in the war. Sparta was invaded by Chinese soldiers. I got MAD, as well as the Greeks. Both our navies met off of (once again) Ethiopia, and went full force toward Nanking. In 1520, all of China's coastal cities were our's. That's cause of me. I stole all of there coastal cities.
China was very advanced on foot. They used many archers and pikemen to destroy the east of Greece, which was directly west of China.
I closed in on the Chinese from the east, the Greeks did from the west, and we both took Beijing and burned it to the ground.
In 1640, Sicily entered a golden-age. The Mayans, Aztecs, Koreans, and Ethiopians were all afraid of the naval powered Sicilians and land-powered Greeks. Together, as allies, we scared the whole world, grew, entered golden ages in the 1700s and 1800s, had great industries, hosted a world war, turned against each other in 1940 and went to war for 7 years (and we won, invading all their islands and Athens) and then I was the only nation left.
IS that story any good?
