I got stuck on the first/zero'th room for ages. But it was quite fun!

ummmm........
Mar 16, 2005, 06:17 PM
That is kinda neat.

ummmm........
Mar 16, 2005, 08:01 PM
Well it was kind of neat. Now I'm stuck in rm 1/0 as well.

I'm stuck there too.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 08:27 AM
What do you have?

I've found two cards, three puzzle pieces and two pieces of the letter.

The radio just makes a fuzzy noise, and I can't figure out the combination to the safe.

In rm 1, I can't do anything with anything, really. The TV, phone, fireplace and lamp can't be interacted with, as far as I can tell.

Look under the batteries in the Room number 0. :)

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 10:00 AM
Dang it! I clicked there before!

That's the one thing I can't stand about this sort of game; you have to click on exactly the right place.

On to rm 3 . . .

BTW, I think those are radiators, could be a translation thing.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 10:24 AM
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

I've found everything but the last piece of letter, and I can't figure out how to close the stupid box to put in the last door! I've clicked everything. Everything, I tell you!

Don't help me yet.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 10:36 AM
Okay, tell me. :(

Mise
Mar 17, 2005, 06:30 PM
Ok, the box in room 4:
Here's a clue: Remember the cards? Remember the doors? ;)

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 06:39 PM
Yeah, I noticed that, but my ideas arising from that fact didn't lead me where I wanted to go.

Mise
Mar 17, 2005, 06:47 PM
What did you try?

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 06:51 PM
First time I've used "spoiler" hopefully I won't screw this up. I figured you were supposed to go through the doors in the order of the cards, since I couldn't get the cards interact with the cross in any way. I figured the symbols on the cards represented an order of folding the cross, but either I'm wrong, or my spatial reasoning ability is failing me (equally likely).

Mise
Mar 17, 2005, 06:55 PM
Hmm.... the cards are supposed to interact with the cross - you drag them onto the cross in the position you want. Then you....... well, you probably know now. You have to drag the cards onto the box in their correct positions.
Heh, speaking in spoilers is fun!

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 06:59 PM
Dammit! It's just like the radiator in rm 0/1. I tried it, but it didn't work until someone told me. All is good now. Still a fun game.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 08:14 PM
Okay, I lied.

I can move the cards onto the cross, but they don't do anything when I put them where I want them to go. The little design on the corners of the cards are pointing to the way that piece folds, right? So I get
0-Blue
1-Grey (doesn't fold)
2-Red
3-Purple
4-Orange
5-Green
That should make a box (I even made a little cut out to make sure) but nothing happens. I noticed the cards stack in a certain order (rm 0 on top down thruough room 4), is that impotant? Am I misinterpreting the symbols on the cards, or am I just not putting them in the right place? This is very frustrating.

Stupid 3rd room.

And they're radiators. Could also call them heaters.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 08:25 PM
I did call it a radiator. Check the filing cabinet.

Thrawn
Mar 17, 2005, 08:26 PM
Past there. I'm in the upside down room.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 08:27 PM
Ah, room 3, but the fourth room.

Did you find the picture?

Yuri2356
Mar 17, 2005, 08:54 PM
Having trouble with room 3, can't seem to figure out the clock. I already have all the items in the room.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 08:59 PM
you can click-and-drag the hour hand

Yuri2356
Mar 17, 2005, 09:03 PM
Ah. I knew it moved, but not that it could drag, so I had no way of setting it properly.

ummmm........
Mar 17, 2005, 10:26 PM
So has anyone else gotten to the last puzzle yet?

Is there any point to the game other than pixel-searching, er, if you can call pixel-searching a game?

The triggers to the raidators and the drawer are way too small.

I agree its a badly coded game. But it's still fun! I thought the ending was cool too :)

Thrawn
Mar 18, 2005, 05:54 AM
Yes, I have the picture.

Mise
Mar 18, 2005, 06:20 AM
Do you have a mobile phone?

ummmm........
Mar 18, 2005, 08:02 AM
Hey, I'm still stuck! Tell me what I'm doing wrong with the friggin' box and cards :( See post 16.

Nah... that idea is already done to death... an exmaple is "Monkeybone". (Yes, I finished The Door)

Thrawn:

Think about how you enter English on your cellphone. (No, ignore the new models that let you write with your fingers)

ummmm........:

Look carefully at the cards... observe the symbols. These cards are to be placed on the last puzzle box - single click on the box to "ready" it for card-placing.

See how each symbol has a horizontal line? Notice its position in the symbol... and the grey one goes last.

ummmm........
Mar 18, 2005, 09:06 AM
Ack! I was going by the symbols in the corners! I'm too old for this stuff . . .

EDIT: Even after that last hint, I still took forever trying to place the cards in accordance to where the dashes were on the cards, not where they were in relation to each other. So I finally finished, but I feel like a pootie head. :(

How does the photo work? A and C are on the same number, along with E and F.

EDIT: Oh, I misread the letters.

Is there a way to open the drawers in room 0?

Syterion
Mar 18, 2005, 10:46 AM
Everything was so easy until the puzzle box. I can't get it.

EDIT: To above: Try clicking on them.

EDIT: Does the fact that the "1" box is slightly separated mean anything?

ummmm........
Mar 18, 2005, 11:09 AM
The second spoiler in post 30 solves the puzzle box.

Post 14 gives less of a hint if you don't want to spoil it.

Smokey_Monkey
Mar 18, 2005, 11:24 AM
I finished it!

Syterion
Mar 18, 2005, 11:42 AM
kcwongs clue deson't help at all. Someone's going to have to tell me straight out what the order is. I did every combination I could think of relating to the horizontal lines and the little square symbols.

The worst part is that up until that point I had done everything so easily.

EDIT: I'm missing the last letter piece. Would that do it? And I don't have a cube for Room 0.

ummmm........
Mar 18, 2005, 12:14 PM
You don't need a cube for r0, because that's where you start. You get the last letter piece after you open the door.

Give me a minute and I'll run back through the game for the order.

EDIT: blue, green, orange, red, purple, grey

Hoho... I completed it. Great stuff this is.

I already tried.
It didn't work. Ot is it pixel hunt?

kcwong
Mar 19, 2005, 04:53 AM
The game is just pixel hunt. No much else.

ummmm........
Mar 19, 2005, 05:12 AM
But it's a fun pixel hunt!

@JD: only the bottom drawer opens. Click near either handle.

You guys do know that you can zoom in, making it easy to see box pieces stuck in radiators, etc., right?
